We arrived by car and was greeted warmly by 3 staff members at the door. When they knew we were from Hong Kong they arranged a Taiwanese staff member speaking Mandarin to check in for us. He personally leaded us to our room. The room (upgraded) was so large (about 70 m sq with balcony) and comfortable that it was hard to believe it was a hotel room in Japan. It was a 2-bedroom suite, with partitioned large bathtub and 2 washing basins. There was even a sink at the pantry and a washing machine! They have many gadgets to borrow (free of charge) and when we ordered a usb charger it was delivered to us within 10 min. View is excellent on 11th floor, with Zanba Cape within sight to the furthest. Breakfast was set menu, not buffet style, but we enjoy quality more than quantity.
We were offered a 1000 yen coupon after we agreed to skip the room tidying service. We are so satisfied with what we've got so we decided to use the coupon at the Muku restaurant. We ordered the most expensive menu (12000 yen with Ishigaki beef). The 8-course fusion food was excellent with a touch of molecular gastronomy. The whole meal costs less than 23000 yen with wine, good value at this level of quality and service. On the whole, our experience was excellent for the price paid. Highly recommended.More
