We stayed here for two days and it rained almost the whole time. We were only able to bike around the island (23 km) and see what is out there. The island is beautiful and we can only wonder how it would look like on sunny days.
The hotel staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. They speak some English so it was not hard to communicate. They can arrange bike and car rentals.
The room we stayed (205) was spacious and bright. The downside is that it gets bright quite early. If the light doesn't wake you up an announcement on speakers at 7am surely will. It is a daily collective wake up call, we assumed! There is a varanda, but uncovered.
The food is plentiful and very good. Surprisingly it is meat intensive. Grilled fish, chicken, pork.. You get them all.
Hoping to be back on a sunny day, we would stay here again.
