“A touch of the Caribbean in Santa Ana”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

A nice getaway that gives you the feeling of being on the east coast. Quaint building, friendly staff and owners and Caribbean-flair food that takes you away from the hustle & bustle of everyday and puts you on the beach! An absolute pleasure.

“Authentic Caribbean Food in Santa Ana”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

Caribbean Food - as good as it gets! The Caribbean Camarones with Rice and Beans was absolutely perfect. A great blend of those flavors and spices that you only find in a good Caribbean Restaurant. The one downside of our visit of 9 people was the curry shrimp pasta could have used a little more curry flavor I found it to be a little bland.

The Kabobs were very flavorful with a great variety of meats.

It was all so good I cannot wait to go back. A little expensive by Costa Rican standards, but worth it! Our Meal for 2 was about $ 45.00 with 2 beers and a soda.

“good sea food......but it was noisy”
Reviewed 20 May 2014

, The food was great, I had some rice with plenty of sea food, tasty, tender, good size. But, I guess we were not lucky and there were many kids (5 to 10 yrs) running all over the place, screaming every where and so it was not very pleasant.

“Super Tasty Food in Laid Back Location”
Reviewed 12 April 2014

This reminded us of delicious meals we had on the Caribbean coast - wonderful chicken and shrimp dishes with great texture and flavor. Great service, as well. This would be a good place for kids - there are toys and the atmosphere is really relaxed. Just off the beaten path and nestled into a little jungle yard area. Good prices. Definitely going to become a regular!

“First night in Costa Rica, good night in Costa Rica!”
Reviewed 26 March 2014 via mobile

This was a great way to spend our first night in Costa Rica! Starving after a long flight and anxious to get our vacation started, our friends took us here shortly after our arrival. It did not disappoint! The appetizer plate was fantastic, our food was ample and absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed more than a few ice cold beers (both Imperial and Pilsen). It's a small, intimate, authentic Caribbean restaurant with a funky style and well worth a visit.
