“Looked for b and b near Bletchley Park”
Reviewed 7 November 2012

Ideal location for visiting Bletchley Park and Woburn abbey. Stayed for 2 nights b and b. Lovely ground floor room, great breakfast with good choice, nice extra touches of flowers, fruit, wine and chocolates in our room.Very comfortable, clean and every facility - could not fault it. Each afternoon on returning to our room we were offered tea/coffee and homemade cake!
Erica and Steve were very welcoming. Will definitely return and will try an evening meal!

Room Tip: Ground floor room was ideal for those who may have difficulty with stairs. It was very spacious.

My wife and I stayed at the White House last night and the night before. Erica and Steve are welcoming, the room was clean and pleasant (the half bottle of Merlot went down a treat). We both had the full English fried breakfast, very nice!

I would recommend this B & B to anyone and we are likely to stay their again if we need a bed for the night in the area.

A nice place to stay, also great value for money.

The Italian restaurant just up the road (inside the George Inn) serves great food.

Room Tip: We stayed in room one on the ground floor, very nice.

stayed here before a corporate day at Woburn -and a splendid choice. Perfect start to the day. Only downside were the rather thick pillows -but this was drowned out by everything else! Thoroughly recommended

Ourselves and two friends have just had a two night stay at this beautiful b and b and would highly recommend it for a lovely peaceful setting and very close to woburn safari and abbey. The rooms were lovely with very nice touches, half a bottle of wine fruit biscuits and lavender were all very welcome, everywhere was immaculatly clean and the hosts Steve and Erica were very friendly and such a lovely couple made us feel very welcome in their home. First day we arrived we caught the last of the september sunshine sitting in their beautiful garden with a lovely fresh coffee and home cooked cake yummy. We have to say that the best part of the stay was the amazing breakfast they cooked freshly for us really sets you up for the day.
There is a lovely pub just down the road that has a really good italian restuarant the food was superb and we also had a great meal out in the Bell Inn at woburn.
If we were to visit the area again we would def come back here to stay and wouldn't hesitate to recomment to others much better than staying at the big hotels that charge well over the odds for no where near such lovely service

Stayed at The White House for one night last week. We enjoyed our brief stay so much, Erica and Steve are perfect hosts, the decor in the bedroom was lovely and had many finishing touches and extras which makes all the difference. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal on our arrival and after a good nights sleep in a very comfy bed we tucked in to an excellent breakfast. We will certainly be making a return visit to The White House the next time we have occasion to visit this very nice part of the country and have no hesitation on recommending this venue to all our friends .

We stayed here for 2 nights to visit Bletchley Park and play golf. After a friendly reception we were soon sitting in the lovely garden having tea and home made cake. Our room was excellent, well appointed with extras - fruit, wine and chocolate' and lavender. Our breakfast was very good, nothing was too much trouble and really set us up for the day. I am coeliac, and so require a gluten free diet. Leaving home in a hurry I had forgotten my gluten free bread, but I needn't have worried, Erica is prepared for special diets. We ate at the Old Green Man, which was OK but the meal at the Italian Restaurant at the George was one of the best Italian meal we have had recently.Altogether a very good short break, and we would certainly stay again.
Thank you Erica and Steve
