“Very lurcher friendly”
Reviewed 27 October 2013

We had a warm welcome, despite arriving later than planned. Our lurcher was cared for by the owners, who were clearly good with dogs, whilst we visited Bletchley Park, where dogs are not allowed. The room was warm and comfortable, with fruit and snacks, as well as tea and coffee. The breakfast was delicious, with various options. Mike and Sue are wonderful hosts and were kindness itself. As well as looking after us and our dog, they provided breakfast for our son! We wish them great success with their new venture and would strongly recommend their B & B - nicer than an hotel. Our SatNav told us the house was on the right but it is on the left, going down the hill.

Mike and Sue were so welcoming. Tea and cake ready when we arrived. Flexible with times of arrival. Helped us with ideas where to eat locally and places to visit. Great breakfast, rooms clean and pillows were not lumpy. Lovely touch is they have cake ready at 4pm when we returned from our day trip. Highly recommended.

My daughters (25 and 17) and I stayed with Mike and Sue for just one night to attend a family wedding locally. My husband and son (also 17) chose to camp! From the moment I rang to ask whether we could check in early, due to wedding timings, Mike and Sue were more than willing to be flexible around our needs. They offered us tea/coffee on arrival and were not concerned that we would be returning very late that night. They also asked what time we would like breakfast. The breakfast was just right and we appreciated the little touches in the room - attractive shower gel, brownies and flapjacks, and hot chocolate, coffee, tea. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the shower powerful and hot. I have a bad back and was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the bed was. Highly recommended.

Booked this B&B at the last minute, as we were on a short cycling trip and wanted to stay near to Bletchley Park.

From the moment I phoned, Mike & Sue just went the extra mile - they phoned us to let us know the local pub wouldn't be doing meals on a Sunday; they offered us coffee & cake on arrival; a small bottle of wine and chocolates awaited us in our room. The room was spotless, comfortable, and relaxing. We took the eve meal, and they shared some wine, and came in for a chat, and told us about their venture into the world of B&B.

In the morning, a lovely cooked breakfast awaited, before we left for our onward trip.

They deserve to do well, and we can thoroughly recommend this to others - cyclists or otherwise !
