Reviewed 23 May 2011

we arrived on friday evening to a warm welcome from the owner, Carol. First impressions were good, Langleigh guest house has a beautiful setting set in a stunning garden with lovely views. Our room, one of 5 had all the comforts of home including a little shared fridge on the landing containing proper milk for the tea and coffee and somewhere to keep my holiday bottle of wine cool,"bliss". Breakfast the next morning was a scrummy full english with lighter options for the less piggish. We stayed 2 nights and slept like logs in our comfy bed. Altogether one of our better B&B finds. We would have given 5 stars for a slightly later breakfast on sunday morning but then we are a pair of slobs on sundays.

Room Tip: room 4 was lovely overlooking the garden.

Only had two nights here as a break from my own guest house in St Ives, but did have a peaceful time. Just what I`d expect from a guest hose in rural Devon. Freindly reception and service, especially for Dottie the dog. Thank you Carol

Have just returned from a 4 night stay at this lovely guest house.Carol was a superb host-breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented without any rush or fuss. The location is superb-a pretty village tucked away from the busier resort of Coombe Martin-and the views of the Sterridge Valley are breathtaking.Langleigh house itself is contained in beautifully kept gardens which are worth exploring in their oewn right. Can recommend the pub across the road-The Olde Globe for great meals and a local atmosphere .Would definitely recommend this friendly B & B for value for money, location ,cleanliness -and hope to return again.

We stayed here as a base for three days of walking the SW coastal path and had everything we could have asked for - a lovely, good value room, helpful hosts and a wonderful breakfast to start each day. The pub in the village was also excellent - friendly with good service and good value home cooked pub food.
