“Perfect holiday home”
Reviewed 16 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

The location of Poppies is ideal for all of North Devons attractions, from the beautiful beaches to stunning Exmoor and when wet close enough for some shopping for a bit of retail therapy. The accommodation is first class and cannot be faulted, very comfortable and has everything you need for a perfect stay, including Sky TV, Wireless connection and a dish washer. We have stopped at many rental properties over the years and can honestly say that this is the best.

“Perfect, pet friendly, cottage for couples.”
Reviewed 7 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Poppies is in the village of Berrynarbor in North Devon. The village has a best kept village award for good reason, as it is picturesque and quaint. It has a pub and convenience store. It is also an ideal starting point for walks as it is near the coastal path and Combe Martin.
Poppies has been renovated to a high standard and is dog friendly, with the lounge door opening directly onto a secure garden. The owners live next door to Poppies and are extremely helpful and welcoming without being intrusive. Nice extras are the cream tea left for when you arrive, doggy treats and essential cupboard items. We would definitely stay again.

“Idyllic village cottage , Berrynarbor”
Reviewed 15 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

This was our 1st visit to North Devon to the quaint village of Berrynarbor. It is a beautiful bijou cottage with everything you need to have a relaxing comfortable holiday. The owner Andy, Alison, daughter Sophie are dog Mable all so lovely and friendly and we loved the fact that we were allowed to bring our dog cookie along on our holiday. The holiday cottage is in a beautiful setting and has everything you could possibly need home from home. It's spotless clean and has a modern cottagey feel to it. The bed and bedding are so comfortable and I loved the double shower which was powerful and lovely and warm. It's very close to a fabulous restaurant bar called the sawmill and the food is delicious and very inviting. We highly recommend visiting ilfracombe harbour, woolacombe, appledore, instow and Saunton to name a few. We will deffinately be recommending poppies cottage to our friends, family and work colleagues and can't wait to return again.

“Amazing cottage annex in a beautiful North Devon village seeltting”

We have just returned from an amazing 10 night stay at Poppies. Beautiful village setting, immaculate & well equipped cottage annex. Attentive, yet non intrusive owners, who go out of their way to ensure your stay is great from start to finish.

Fluffy towels, flowers, a cream tea on arrival to name just a few of the welcoming touches that await you as as guest.

Add great local pub food, lovely walks on long Sandy beaches with the ones you love; who could ask for more.

We would recommend Poppies to anyone seeking a holiday in North Devon without question. You will not be disappointed.

Thank you to the owners xx
