From the moment you enter the drive leading to this destination you know you have made a good choice.
The well manicured road leads you down a steep hill between fields bursting with sheep and their lambs, and in front of you is a magnificent view of farmland and hills.
Your welcome, firstly from Coco the resident doggie, is warm, as is that from proprietor Margaret.
The ground floor lounge consists of a huge fireplace surrounded by excellent comfortable seating where you can relax at any time. This room doubles as the breakfast room with a wonderful panorama of the farmland.
Open stairs lead up to the first floor bedrooms. Several have the same farmland view, others facing the front lawn, gardens, woodland and stream.
The rooms are tastefully planned and decorated and in excellent repair. Our bed and linen was very comfy, as well as having great en-suite facilities, flat-screen TV, tea and coffee facilities etc. Everything is here that you would hope for.
Margaret's home baked cakes are regularly waiting for you each day in your room as is ample bottled water.
We stayed for 7 nights and enjoyed 7 great nights sleep with 7 great breakfasts. The essence of 'B&B'.
The ground floor lounge has tea and coffee facilities available 24/7, a chiller cabinet offering tinned drinks and confectionary via an 'honesty box'. Also available are a good range of books and DVDs which will play on you room's TV.
Breakfast is 8:00-9:30. A full English/Vegetarian full English is on offer.
These are very good with a wide range of options and, like the rest of the property, all is very clean, bright and tasty.
Outside is ample parking and a well maintained lawn, ideal for those little legs to explore.
We found every aspect of the property to fully meet our needs, as did the location near Skipton, which is an excellent base from which to tour by car or to ride the famous Settle-Carlisle Railway.
Thank you, Margaret, Paula, John and Joel for a most enjoyable week.
Although 300 miles from our home we have been made to feel at home, but at the same time we have been free to come and go and to 'do our own thing'.
You will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: Ask for one with a valley/field view. The garden view however is very pleasant too.

Our second visit and we were not disappointed. The location is stunning and quality of the accommodation first class. It's run by a really nice family which creates a lovely relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. It's a 20 minute walk to the small village of Cononley where my daughter loved the park. There are regular trains to Skipton (£3.60 return for us all using our family rail card)and Leeds. Brilliant base for walking or cycling in the Dales. I'm sure we will visit again soon.

Just back from a relaxing break in Yorkshire. Spent 3 nights here and we will definitely be returning, from the tastefully decorated rooms to the home cooked breakfasts and cakes left every day in our room, it would be hard to find a nicer place to stay.

We booked this b&b as both my boyfriend and me love walking so I thought I would treat him for his birthday. What a treat it was. We arrived to a beautiful location with such a warm welcome. We were shown to our room which was big enough for us 2 and the bathroom was huge!! Comfy beds are always a bonus and boy were these comfy. Breakfast was a fresh cooked breakfast, or similar if you preferred, or cereal or Indeed both. Set in fantastic countryside and only approx 10 mins from skipton!! Such a beautiful place run by a fantastic family. Well done.
