The place is an institution and the quality of the Filets de Perche has not declined in the 35 years that I have been visiting, irregularly though, the place. I also don't remember seeing any guest eating anything else from the menu. You should know why you go there... The place has not changed, the decor is the same, the copper burners are the same, the plates.... the smell. Only the staff changed.... I have tried a number of places for Filets de Perche on the Swiss and French sides of Lac léman. None compares. Now, the portions are extremely generous (for a price of CHF 45.-, well above average) and an offer of two different portions at two different prices (as practiced by other restaurants specialized in Filets) would be welcome. My wife couldn't finish her second serving and despite a good appetite I couldn't help her. A pity for the fish, still a rarity... Count CHF 130.- for two (Filets de Perche, half bottle local wine, water, coffee). Finally, Rolle is a lovely village of the Western cost of Lac Léman and the Restaurant very well located in the small port. You will appreciate a short walk along the lake for digestion! Reservation indispensable although you might get lucky if coming after the first service, like arriving at 13:15 for lunch.
