I stayed in this hotel for three nights in November. The location was incredible, right on the promenade that seems to go on forever along Lac Leman and the vies from my room was amazing. The room and the bathroom was a bit on the cramped side- I stayed in a "single room" on the entrance floor, and could have been better equipped. The blankets and the thumb-nail size tv were a put off. However, the staff was very nice and accommodating and the bus/train card that the hotel supplied was a very nice touch. Once the renovation work at the front entrance is finished, I am sure the hotel will give a much better first impression.

Room Tip: Lake view, no smoking

I stayed in this hotel as part of a group, visiting Vervey for a conference. The location was absolutely stunning and the view from the room simply beautiful.

The rooms are comfortable and the ensuite bathroom facilities spacious and well kept. They were comfortably warm and the pillows on the bed were probably the best I have ever had in a hotel. Really comfortable!

Breakfast in the hotel was a fairly simple continental meal but enjoyable nonetheless. There was an excellent range of fruit available and the breads and cheeses were beautiful.

I took lunch in the hotel once whilst I was there. It was absolutely divine.

I was suprised how few of the staff spoke English, although they were all friendly and did their best to understand and make sure needs were met. This really did not detract from the overall quality of the stay. I really should learn sufficient French to get by instead of relying on everyone speaking English.

Although I was not footing the bill and as such did not look too closely, I am aware that the price is rather expensive. For a treat though, well worth it!

Room Tip: a room facing over the lake provides stunning viewsboth at sun rise and sunset.

STayed here for a couple of nights during the Montreux Jazz Festival in July. Excellent location 10 min. from the Palais Congres and FEstival area, along the same rod and free buses! Right on the lake, with nice friendly service, clean and comfy rooms, bright and light interiors. However, a big renovation outside was going on whcih we had not been informed of, but fortunately they diidn´t start at 7am any of the mornings...but we couldn´t keep the windows open due to traffic and as common in hotels in Switzerland NO aircon!!

Room Tip: Chose lake view room

I spent two nights here on a business trip and was impressed both by the breathtaking location and the quality of service. Remember that Swiss electric plugs differ from standard European ones, but if you forget to bring an adapter, they are happy to help you out at the reception. The hotel has a rather simple style but everything is in perfect condition, clean and comfortable. My double room was rather spacious, with an amazing view over the lake. The restaurant offers a wide choice of tasty creative dishes made from fresh, often local ingredients with herbs from their own garden. Lovely, isn't it? :)

Room Tip: They apologised for not having any more free rooms with mountain view, so I "only" had a r...

The hotel is always my favourite in Vevey - combination of price, a nice, clean room with possibility of lake view and connection with public transport (btw: also always parking in front of hotel). The rooms are relatively simple and small, but more than sufficient for 1 person (especially on business trip).
the service is friendly, fluent English speaking.
good breakfast with fresh fruits, really nice croissants and others.
I cannot recall how often I stayed, but probably 10-12 times now in the last 8 years - and soon coming back for 10 days again.

My favourite place where to stay in Vevey. The price is not low as for any other hotel in this area, but it's meeting expectations. Rooms are clean equiped with small tv. The only dissadvantage might be two beds instead of one king size, but you'll survive that. In the morning you can enjoy extremelly good breakfast. Not because there are hundreds of different things, but because there are few fresh and excellent things to eat. As a bonus you've a beatiful view of the lake which will give you energy for the rest of the day.

Room Tip: Rooms just under the roof and a bigger and nicer. They cost the same, but it might be difficult to g...

I stayed at this hotel in november 2011 for one night...We were travelling around the Europe by car and found this lovely place. We parked right in front of the hotel free. Checked in smooth, they cave us the free bus card for the next day to see Montroux. The card is valid for 15 days. They also told us that we could keep our car in their parking and take the bus to Montroux and come back for the car later. It was a nice gesture. The rooms are simple but very clean. Now let's talk about the breakfast!!It was the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. Lots of choices and it was very fresh. Eating a delicious full breakfast by the lake was the highlight of my trip...Would definitely stay there again....
