We had high expectations of this place; and some of them were met. The view from the pool is spectacular, the building itself is spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated. The meal in the restaurant was pretty good and the girl that served us was nice.
But.. when we arrived, no-one seemed happy to see us. And that is an understatement. We were just given our key, and that was the first and the last we saw of the lady who probably runs the place (although we are not even sure about her role).
We had to ask other guests how to go about getting a drink, and when we asked for it (in Italian) the lady gave me the idea I was just a nuisance. She gave us plastic cups to drink from, as if she did not trust us with glass.
We have had some very different experiences in Italy; and have come to expect a little more hospitality and friendliness, especially in a small (and rather exclusive) agriturismo like this.
Overall, based on my experience I would not recommend this place if you are travelling with children or if you like some interaction with your hosts.More
