Lovely resort in the remote islands of Okinawa. They provide a shuttle bus from the port and the service is excellent with staff happy to help out with anything you need. If you don't have much Japanese, they do have (at least one) English speaking staff member who was very helpful during our stay and explained the facilities. The activity guide is all Japanese (does have pictures) so I'm not sure how non-Japanese speakers would manage. There is a large selection of things to do though so once you could understand it, I think you would find something to suit. Most are outdoors though (it is an island resort after all) so if you need to stay out of the sun and heat of an Okinawan summer, the options are a bit more limited though it was nice to sit in the air conditioned bar and gaze out over the pool and sea beyond.

At the beach, we hired a panari terrace for 1100yen an hour which is a private shaded area with 2 sun loungers and they provide towels and a jug of refreshing iced lemon drink. It is in a separate part of the beach and very peaceful to lie in. You can order drinks/food from the beach cafe and they deliver it to you. There were a lot of other activities at the beach but we were happy to lie in the shade and relax. I would recommend hiring the golf buggy to go to the beach as it is quite a long walk in the heat.

The rooms are clean and well maintained and the air con blissfully cool. The restaurants provide a good choice of food and the slow cooked pork was amazing. There are free laundry facilities though I didn't use them.

Due to the location, getting to the resort requires a few different transport connections which could be annoying if you have a lot of luggage. If you come from Ishigaki airport, there is a 45 min bus trip (taxi might be better alternative if you have large luggage) then the 25 min boat then the 10 min shuttle bus to the resort.

It is definitely a wonderful place, which offers different activities either on, or around the island. If you would rather just spend some time relaxing, there are perfect spots for that as well. I would recommend it to anybody from any age group.

My husband, 3 year old and I had a lovely time at this resort. We stayed in a large ocean suite room facing the ocean and had to travel by golf carts to and from the hotel lobby where the restaurants were. The resort was large and there was lots to do. From onsen hot springs, pet farm, beach, hammock swinging, and star gazing at night, etc., we never felt crowded. The only slight disappointment was the swimming pool looked bigger in the photos than in reality. A few staff spoke quite good english and were always gracious to help us out. Although some people may get bored with the limited restaurant choices, we didn't mind the daily lunch and dinner at the same restaurant since we were traveling with our young son. The highlight of our trip was a morning day trip out to snorkeling where we saw quite a lot of tropical fish at very shallow waters. Although my son and I did not participate in the actual snorkeling process, we were able to enjoy the experience since the water was so crystal clear. We already want to go back very soon!

Room Tip: Make sure you choose the newly renovated rooms for a better experience!

This hotel and area was a very beauitful place to stay, the resort is located on a huge garden area which has tennis courts, spas, pools, all kinds of things, you get around by driving a little golf buggy which is pretty cool and the beach is just a few minutes away. I went to what i was told was the 2nd best restaurant on the island because the 1st was closed and i have to say the food was great, both there and everywhere in Okinawa. The hotel room itself was clean and the service was very good :)

Free transfer from harbour port.

Spacious bungalows, stayed with 3p in a room and still big enough for all our luggages. Tiny bathroom but clean (1.5x1.5m). Complimentary bathroom amenities.

Breakfast was outstanding, large variety, from cold to warm, choices in Western and Japanese.

Facilities:
o Hot bath (spa) was great, 1 large bath and 1 smaller, both same temperature with a very nice view over the garden and sea.
o Outdoor pool with pool beds and parasols.
o Golf course (think it was a small one but not sure)
o Beach, beach beds, and beach activities available e.g. water scooter
o Different Japanese cuisine available
o Happy hour 18-20pm at the resort bar, limited selection - mostly fruit flavoured cocktails.

Suggest renting a golf car driving around the resort
Portable wifi available for JPY 800 per day (limited numbers available for whole resort)
