Lovely resort in the remote islands of Okinawa. They provide a shuttle bus from the port and the service is excellent with staff happy to help out with anything you need. If you don't have much Japanese, they do have (at least one) English speaking staff member who was very helpful during our stay and explained the facilities. The activity guide is all Japanese (does have pictures) so I'm not sure how non-Japanese speakers would manage. There is a large selection of things to do though so once you could understand it, I think you would find something to suit. Most are outdoors though (it is an island resort after all) so if you need to stay out of the sun and heat of an Okinawan summer, the options are a bit more limited though it was nice to sit in the air conditioned bar and gaze out over the pool and sea beyond.
At the beach, we hired a panari terrace for 1100yen an hour which is a private shaded area with 2 sun loungers and they provide towels and a jug of refreshing iced lemon drink. It is in a separate part of the beach and very peaceful to lie in. You can order drinks/food from the beach cafe and they deliver it to you. There were a lot of other activities at the beach but we were happy to lie in the shade and relax. I would recommend hiring the golf buggy to go to the beach as it is quite a long walk in the heat.
The rooms are clean and well maintained and the air con blissfully cool. The restaurants provide a good choice of food and the slow cooked pork was amazing. There are free laundry facilities though I didn't use them.
Due to the location, getting to the resort requires a few different transport connections which could be annoying if you have a lot of luggage. If you come from Ishigaki airport, there is a 45 min bus trip (taxi might be better alternative if you have large luggage) then the 25 min boat then the 10 min shuttle bus to the resort.
