“Blissful comfort!”
Reviewed 15 April 2012

After a rather fraught couple of days on a boat (don't ask) we abandoned ship and sought refuge in local B&Bs. Came across Dairy Barns in the Norfolk rag "Broadcaster" and luckily for us they has a room free for that evening.

What a cracking find. A wonderful warm welcome, mini tour and offer of tea, coffee and scones, with cream and jam of course, in the lounge. Our room had a huge bed with lush duvet and my son described his put you up bed as the most comfortable of the sort ever. The bathroom was huge with a powerful shower that almost blasted us off our feet.

A great night's sleep followed by a hearty breakfast before we trundled off to see friends on the north Norfolk cost.

While this may not have been our intended destination on this trip it was fantastic and I thoroughly recommend Dairy Barns to anyone wanting a lovely location, warm welcome, comfort and good food.

My wife and I were looking for somewhere to stay near the Norfolk / Suffolk coast. This location cropped up early in our research but we overlooked it for a while as we (thought) we wanted to stay at one of the more renowned touristy areas. We eventually booked the Dairy Barns after reading the trip advisor reviews although were sceptical that it could score so highly.

We were delighted with our two night stay and can confirm the five stars are justified. Our double room was quite large and the whole venue was clean, tidy and comfortable. Breakfast was large and wonderful (the waffles with fruit can be particularly recommended). The friendliness of the hosts was present throughout our stay and it was clear Hannah and her mum wanted to ensure every guest enjoyed their stay in Norfolk; not just at the B&B but their whole holiday also. We had a day with no plans but this was quickly filled after being given suggested placed to visit which included a board walk and 'secret' vantage point at the top of an old building that it not advertised to tourists.

We were in the end glad not to have stayed at the busier seaside towns. Dairy Barns is in a nice secluded location and only a few miles from some similarly secluded beaches.

Room Tip: The suites can be recommended for horse lovers as these overlook the stables.

A three-night stay just was not long enough! The accommodation was among the best we have stayed in - well up to four/five star standard - comfortable and spotless. The breakfasts were excellent (esp. the waffles - to die for!), and the arrival night supper well up to restaurant standards. Hannah's home-made scones and coffee on arrival were most enjoyable, and her mum Jill is a walking encyclopedia on what to do and where to go within a fifty mile radius. We shall definitely return - the sooner the better!

We had a lovely two night stay in the Swallows Nest Suite last weekend and would thoroughly recommend the Dairy Barns B&B to everyone. The photos of the suite do not do it justice and we were very pleasantly surprised. The bathroom was amazing with a huge bath and separate double shower. The bedroom was beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfy. The barn itself was peaceful and in a beautiful setting. The breakfasts were superb and extra special as we were able to enjoy it in our suite. The beach was about a five minute drive away and there were some nice pubs nearby. I can't wait to return!

Room Tip: The Swallows nest is beautiful and would be a romantic treat for a loved one.

We would recommend the Dairy Barns. We were welcomed by Hannah with a cup of tea and delicious home made scones. The place was beautifully decorated as was the room very cosy!
We only went for one night but would definately go back for longer. The local pub was also very accomodating, and good food.

Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night in late March! The suite was clean, roomy, quiet and comfortable. Compared with other 4* B&B's we have stayed in Dairy Barns was 5*++ standard. The light supper and breakfast were superb and filling. The tea and scones on arrival were a welcome touch. The location is peaceful and relaxing with the beaches close by. Hannah's Mum gave us excellent advice on where to see the seals on the local beaches. Oh and the weather was brilliant as well!!!!!

What can I say but "Top Class". On arrival you are made to feel very welcome. Cup of tea and sones on arrival. You are given a guide of where everything is and the rooms were spectacular. They were very spacious and the attention to detail was second to none. Breakfast was excellent. The whole experience was lovely. I would recommend the Dairy Barns to anyone and will definetely visit them again. Nothing was to much effort or trouble.
