Came here for somewhere different to eat. Tables were all laid up nicely. Food was excellent and very tasty. Little expensive but you don't mind as you get what you pay for. Would recommend people to eat here, can't comment on rooms as didn't stay here.

Came to the area for a friends party near by. I found this pub on google and read the reviews on Trip Adviser, comments about dust and cobwebs where reported and some comments about food not so good. Everywhere was busy for the night we wanted and The Langford Inn only had one room left so we booked. There were the odd cobwebs in the vaulted ceiling and due to all the furniture being dark oak a little dust did exist BUT great barn conversion with plenty of room and our room was very quite (Sandford room). Bed was extremely comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Nice bathroom with good shower and plenty of hot water, better than a lodge hotel. Breakfast was very nice and the young team of waitress's were very polite and friendly. We did notice they had a 5 star food hygiene rating - top marks. Bar is a little old fashioned (tea room feel) but I have to say all in all we enjoyed our stay and would use again.

Room Tip: Sandford room is nice and quite.

The most disgusting meal I have ever eaten surrounded by dive bombing flies. Over prised and they don't know the difference between a pork loin chop and a pork loin steak. Heard so much on the radio about this place and I would never go there again. We were not even offered a discount after eating with flies on our cutlery arms faces and food. Disgusting place

Stayed a couple of times. Great for airport. Does have a room for 5 if you can get it. Food ok but seems to be idiot g a bit from prevous. Staff young but friendly and efficient. It is is so much better than holiday inn nearer to airport that I will be staying agIn despite the price.

Stayed for 2 nights in the Dundry room whilst on a business trip. Staff very friendly. Room ok on first glance, however dust EVERYWHERE (on the wooden headboard, drinks tray, on water glasses, cobweb on bedside light, dust on pictures and on top of headboard (THICK dust!!)) Wifi was patchy at best, with shower head COVERED in limescale. On the positive side, bed was comfy, lots of hot water, and food of good quality. To be fair to management, didn't bring cleanliness to their attention as was too busy with business. Felt was over priced at £79 plus breakfast per night.

Stayed for 1 night in the Executive suite, which was massive and would be good value at £110 per night if there were more than two of you.

The first major gripe was the very poor cleanliness of the room. There was accumulated dust all over the surfaces and it was clear the floor had not been properly hoovered.

Secondly, the wi-fi did not work, with the staff unhelpfully telling me it was "on the blink". In this day and age I find this hard to understand, they are taking money and advertising a service that they don't then provide.

The building is lovely and the location very nice, but somehow this place falls into the mediocrity trap. They do just enough so that you don't feel you can complain. Look elsewhere if you are staying in the area.

We booked in on the first leg on our journey to Land's End. We stayed for 1 night, then stayed a further night's stay on the way back up the country.

We arrived early Sunday afternoon, received a warm welcome from a member of staff who hailed from Newcastle, who lived at Wick St Lawrence. We were shown to our room which was part of an annex built to the side of the pub itself. Our room was called 'Dundry Room' and was especially brilliant because we could park the motorbike right outside the room for security.

Our room was lovely and cool, very clean and tidy, with a lovely big and very comfortable bed, with an open ceiling, all the usual things that you would need, tea, biscuits, hair dryer, TV. The room had a large shower room with shower gel and hand wash provided.

Once we had got changed we went into the pub for a pint and then had a lovely walk around the village. The village doesn't really have anything there like shops etc, although there is a walking / bicycle clothes shop, but that didn't matter the village was quaint and very peaceful with lovely walks around it.

We then went back to the pub to have a meal which was good priced and very delicious, and a large portion of food.

The breakfast the next morning could either be continental or a good English breakfast, we didn't know whether to eat it or climb it there was that much there. Very delicious.

We are planning on heading back down to Cornwall next year so we will definitely be staying here again on our way down.
