We stayed in Terrathely for almost two weeks and were sad that we had to leave to the next luxury resort. I can recommend this property to anyone who would like to have a relaxed holiday in a private and quiet environment. The nearest beach is on walking distance, however within a few minutes drive a lot of beautiful spots can be found. The owners are very friendly and were responding quickly in advance of our holidays as well during our stay. The coconut (juice) from the owners own garden was delicious.
Guadeloupe is not that big so we were able to enjoy all kind of activities starting from Terrathely, including e.g. climbing the La Soufriere volcano based on Basse-Terre. A car is recommended, as we have not seen a lot of suitable public transport. Near the property there's a small supermarket that is open all days of the week and sells freshly baked "baguettes".
My recommendation would be to stay as long as you can in Terrathely during your stay in Guadeloupe, you will not be disappointed!
We stayed at the beginning of our 3-week-vacation for four nights at Terrathely. It really is quiet, very private. Perfect for the first days of a long vacation to get accustomed to the climate and the island in general.
Located on the outskirts of the town of Moule it is a good starting point to visit the landmarks on Grande-Terre.
The apartment itself does contain everything you need and everything is in good condition. We would definitely return to Terrathely!
One small hint: Close the doors and blinds when it gets dark (~5.30PM) and open them 1-2 hours later. Otherwise the mosquitos will come into the apartment and eat you alive. ;-)
I would recommend this place to anyone coming to visit Guadeloupe! Our stay at Terrathely was fantastic - I just wish we had stayed longer. Christophe was there ready and waiting for us when we arrived, even though it was after dark. He even had some fruit, yogurt, water, and juice in the fridge for breakfast the next morning - very helpful since many places seemed to be closed by the time we arrived. There was also, coffee, tea, sugar, and a few other items available. Wifi worked well. The place is just beautiful - beautiful views, beautiful art, everything. The pictures do not do it justice. We loved the hammock! The air conditioning worked very well for night time once we closed the apartment up. The beach which is walkable is swimmable - and even more beautiful to walk along. Christophe has a great information book in his place with lots of information on places to eat, more beaches, and more. Like he says in the book - try a bokit! The apartment is eco-friendly - which is great - the only downside is it is less likely you will have a hot shower in the morning - since the water heater uses the sun. It got plenty hot in the afternoon, though. It is a quiet place, removed from the chaos of the touristy areas - but still close enough to drive over for a visit to St. Anne, St. Francois, and elsewhere along the coast. You do need to rent a car to get around Guadeloupe easily. I would recommend this place to anyone! We hope to come back sometime.

This was our first Airbnb stay, but for sure, not the last one! The very well equipped, spacious and very clean flat is located in a quiet residental area with view to the sea and gives you privacy. Le Moule is a perfect place for individual travels on Guadeloupe, apart of the mainstream tourism. Thank you Christophe for the warm welcome and all the suggestions you made! Our vacation on Guadeloupe was perfect and we'd love to come again. We can highly recommand this place! Merci beaucoup!
