White Shells Luxury Apartments

Booked this online & I am sure they had ocean views. Turns out, that unless you are on the rooftop, you can't see the ocean for the trees and houses. Nice clean large apartment (we were in the 3rd floor spa penthouse), however it falls short of a luxury title. It did have a real coffee machine & coffee with real milk provided in the fridge. Great for large groups or families with a park across the road. Very quiet neighborhood (and it is very much a suburban neighborhood). Has two options for dinner within walking distance - Italian & Indian. Overall nice stay, but not worth the $350/night we paid for it. Good for a quiet break away.

We can thoroughly recommend White Shells. We stayed in a two bed apartment with its own pool but had the roof top main pool and spa to ourself so used that to soak up the sun! The accommodation is excellent, beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. The manager was a lovely lady too who was delighted to let us into our apartment a few hours early. Noosa is an easy drive for a great day out and the property provides easy access to a superb beach (unpatrolled immediately adjacent to the development but patrolled a little further along).

I could not believe how spacious these 2 bedroom apartments are, with modern comfortable furniture.
We had a roof top spa which was heated for us ready to hop in on arrival.
Rooftop pools and spa are also great!

You won't regret staying here, walk across the road and direct access to beach.

But a shame there are not more restaurants in walking distance. Surf club is couple minutes drive, with pretty good food for a surf club. You can call the courtesy bus to collect you and drop you home if you want to have a few drinks.

Lady in charge is super helpful!!

Room Tip: Private Rooftop spa or ground level with private swimming pool to avoid to many people in communal r...

Me and my partner stayed at White Shells for two nights for his birthday - we wish it was longer! It was an absolute pleasure. We arrived quite late (about 9pm) on Friday night, but the manager Karen had left our key in a safe for us along with some very helpful instructions on where to park and how to get to our room, as well as leaving the lights on in our room for us. Karen was delightful to deal with and extremely friendly.

First impression of our room was fantastic (2 bedroom rooftop spa), perfectly clean and a beautiful apartment. We used the heated rooftop spa so much, it was perfect with it's privacy and ocean views! The kitchen was fitted out with everything we needed (including coffee machine and ground coffee beans!) and the furniture/apartment as a whole looked modern and new.

The location was lovely, so quiet and private which is exactly what we wanted! The beach is only a very short walk away, with local shops including IGA, chemist, butcher, baker, etc. only a couple of minutes drive away. It's a great central location for the Sunshine Coast with Noosa, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba and Coolum close by as well.

Overall it was so relaxing, and very hard to leave at the end of our holiday! We will definitely be back again!

Have just returned from our wonderful holiday. We stayed with our 7yo and 4yo for five nights in a White Shells two brm apartment, and it was just beautiful. The apartment was modern, spacious, clean, well furnished, and extremely well appointed. Loved that we could fully open up the living room doors to the outside. The warm, salt water roof top pool was a hit with the kids, and the gorgeous beach is only a couple of mins walk from the apartments through the dune. (The beach is fine for paddling with kids, but not safe for swimming unless you go to the patrolled areas.)

Can highly recommend the local Surf Club for a family meal (and I normally can't stand clubs). Their meals are restaurant quality (well, the duck with papaya and green mango salad was at any rate!), and they have a kids' games room to keep them busy while the food arrives.

Big thumbs up to Karen who was friendly, helpful and concerned for our comfort and well being. Thank you Karen! Hoping we'll be back again soon.

Room Tip: East facing in summer, north in winter. We had an east facing room in Sept, and lost the warmth from...

A friend who was so impressed with her stay at White shells suggested I take my New Zealand visitor there. She was absolutely right! From beginning to end (too soon unfortunately) we had a great stay. The apartment was spotless, beautifully appointed and everything we needed (and some we didn't know we needed) were there. The manager, Karen, was, as I had been told, very helpful and knowlegeable about the district with sights to see, local eateries and any questions we had were answered. The beach is about 100 yards from the apartments and the swimming pool got a lot of use. There are lovely views of Mount Coolum and the beach so G & T (or 2) on the terrace was a very relaxing way to end the day.
My visitor who had gone through the Christchurch earthquakes resulting in loss of house and job was very stressed when she arrived but went home as, in her words "a new woman".

At the end of our five night stay we have decided to come again but this time for longer. Roll on March! Thank you White Shells and Karen!

I was a bit daunted about going away with my hubby, daughter and grandchildren.........but not to worry as White Shells was the perfect location. I'm too old for the fast pace of some seaside resorts and the children were to young to want anything other than the beach, beach, beach! It was also a pleasure to stay in such sumptuous surroundings too, a very modern apartment with all mod cons. Our first impression was aso good as Karen, the manager, was a real poppet and organized a high chair at very short notice. I would have no problems recommending White Shells to anyone. We'll certainly be back!

Room Tip: The 2 bedroom unit in which we stayed was perfect for 3 adults, a child and a baby. The room faced t...
