Reviewed 13 June 2014

Hi Guys,

I have travelled all over Italy and my partner comes from an Italian Heritage so I know what good traditional Italian food consists of!

Cucina does this! They have a lovely Gnocchi and beautiful mains!

I will be back at regular intervals!

Thanks Guys

James and Maddy

“Amazing!”

Went for dinner and we were treated to amazing food like it was straight from Melbourne. Was very reasonable priced. Will definitely be back.

“Great little local restaurant”
Reviewed 23 May 2014

This is such a cute little restaurant opposite a park on a lovely tree lined street in the Town of Seaside residential area just off David Low Way, Marcoola. It is lovely sitting out on the large terrace overlooking the park. They light lots of candles and flares to give a lovely night-time ambiance. The food we have had on the several visits has been really fresh and delicious. The take-away pizzas are also very good. Service is friendly and efficient.

If you want a place that has a nice vibe, and fresh modern Italian food, then this place is highly recommended.

“best Italian”
Reviewed 4 May 2014

After reading other diners' reviews in Trip Advisor, we decided to get takeaway pizza and pasta to eat while we watched the Friday night footy in our hotel room.
The staff member who gave us advice on what to order, and the sizes of servings, was very helpful and friendly and, as we wanted gluten-free meals, she explained that the pizza bases would be a little smaller than the regular ones. Due to her good advice, we ended up ordering exactly the right amount of food for four.
The pizza bases were thin and crisp, the toppings delicious, and the gnocchi to die for. It was expensive takeaway, but for the truly authentic Italian experience and the availability of gluten-free pizzas, we were not too unhappy with the price.

“Delicious - If you're nearby it's worth a visit”

Cucina Al Mare was surprisingly good. Needless to say we went twice during our 3-day stay in the area! Good for children and adults, nice atmosphere, great waitress. Pizza's were yummy, and gnocchi amazing!
