Stayed at this Hotel on sat. the 26th of June. Found room very small & wedge shape ,faulty T V in our room was quickly fixed, shower drain was partly blocked, good secure car park.Better rooms higher up over looking the beach, would be requested next time.

Room Tip: Ask for sea view rooms

The room that we booked was nothing like in the picture. They moved us to another room the view of the beach was nice. The bathroom tiles looked like they hadn't been cleaned properly, the towels hang above the toilet. Our request for a king size bed was 2 king singles pushed together, so it was very uncomfortable to sleep with a crack down the middle of the beds. It looks like it needs a whole refurbishment. Paint peeling, walls need a good clean. There was 3 pillows on the bed that were almost flat & no spare pillows. There was no spare blankets. The restaurant was advertised as being up market, we had to get our own cutlery & the chairs were plastic & tables were wobbly, its like a canteen style restaurant. (not very good food, just high priced takeaway type food) There are far better places to stay than there.

Room Tip: Ask to see the room before you pay for it. The rooms are very average.

Great room for the price. The room consisted of a Queen and a single bed, complimentary wine and DVD hire and a half day bike hire for two. And to top it off a 12pm check out.
The hotel has been updated and looks great. The TV in the room is huge and great to watch the free DVD on. The shower was surreal as it has a double head shower. You can purchase breakfast in the restaurant. The pool is heated and surrounded by beautifully maintained grounds. Just a short walk and you are on Marcoola beach. The sand is soft and white and the view is magnificent. Bike tracks go for miles and you are not subjected to traffic as the tracks wind for most part along the foreshore. The price was very good and the room clean, comfortable and quite. The 12pm check out was wonderful.

Room Tip: If you like a sea view you will pay more for the room.

We stayed at the Ramada overnight so we could visit Australia Zoo. The reservations process was ok - but we were given a highway view room which was incredibly noisy. The room looked filthy when we arrived but as nobody was on reception when we went downstairs, there was nobody to tell. Unfortunately my little boy was sick in bed that night - so the hotel charged us $75 to clean the sheets! Not only did they not phone us to discuss this charge - but we had actually cleaned the sick ourselves BEFORE we left - so we were not sure why it cost us $75 to clean 1 sheet and 1 blanket.

This hotel looks like a ghost town with empty retail space and you have to go searching for staff to get a coffee (they then do it like you've just asked them to sacrifice their first born). There are some very dodgy shops/cafes nearby - so you definitely need a car to get out of town should you decide to stay here.

This place is across the road from the air strip - so the smell of jet fuel and the noise or just overwhelming.

Overall this is probably worse than any cheap dodgy motel I've ever had the misfortune of ending up in - so do yourself a favour and go a little further north or south to a nice area where there are nice hotels with nice staff.

Room Tip: Just don't stay here!

Stayed in a ocean view room on the 3rd floor for two nights which we purchased through Luxury Escapes and well worth it.

Marcoola is a hidden gem and the access to the beach from the Ramada was exceptional. Visited Noosa but much preferred the relaxed style at Marcoola.

Staff were really helpful and rooms, though ours was small, were comfortable. Meals at the attached restaurant were filling and delicious.

Well worth the visit.
