We stayed at Timberstone last night as we were attending a friend's wedding in Ludlow.

When we pulled into the drive we were greeted by the resident dog (who is friendly whilst mellow), Tracy & Alex. They were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home immediately. We were brought a pot of tea and enjoyed a few minutes' downtime at the table in the garden. The views were just perfect.

The B&B itself is situated in stunning rolling countryside and is beautifully furnished. We stayed in the Clay Room which had a lovely big double bed, a roll-top bath in the bedroom, an ensuite shower and a balcony.

The breakfast this morning was to-die-for! Between us we enjoyed fresh juice and coffee, toast, cereal, yoghurt with seasonal fruit, a full English (or rather a 'full Shropshire') and some American-style pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. There were options on the menu (cooked to order) to suit anyone's tastes.
I'd definitely visit Timberstone B&B again and will recommend it to friends and family. Tracy and Alex made us feel so welcome, the whole place was fantastically clean and we had a great night's sleep. I really couldn't fault a thing :)

We spent two nights as an 85th birthday treat for my Mum. We stayed at Timberstone based on a friends recommendation and it was an excellent choice with clean, comfortable rooms and plenty of space to spread out, even on a wet day. The owners are friendly and helpful and it's a great base for visiting Ludlow and the surrounding beautiful area.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Lay Room (with balcony) and the room opposite (without balcony but with small settee) both were very comfortable and showed off the owners carpentry skills.

We were fortunate to get Timberstone for a weekend break on a late availability deal and it proved perfect accommodation for our large family gathering! All the bedrooms are spacious, beautifully presented with lovely bathrooms. Facilities for cooking for a large group are very good, and the three living rooms provide plenty of space for a large group as well as opportunites to escape for peace and quiet!

Thanks to Alex and Tracey for the use of their lovely house, the massive box of chocs, and for returning our 'lost property'!

My wife booked this lovely Bed and Breakfast for my 50th Birthday suprise. From the moment we arrived we were treated like old friends by Tracey and Alex, the kettle being on, and the tea made within 5 minutes of our arrival.

Our room was lovely, with great views of the countryside. The room was extremely clean, and the bed more comfortable than the one we have at home!. Breakfast was excellent, with loads of choice. On our second evening we had booked to eat at Timberstone. The menu choice and food were both excellent. Tracey and Alex made a real effort to make sure our evening was special.

Our stay at Timberstone was over all to quickly, we could have stayed for the whole week. Our weekend at Timberstone has left us with some very fond memories. We plan to return for a longer stay in the not to distant future.

To sum up, a lovely B&B, located in a beautiful area, owned and run by two dedicated and charming people.

All I can say is WHAT A PLACE!!! Amazing house, venue is beautiful, and something for everyone.
All 15 Guests fell inlove with the house upon arrival and it just kept getting better, even the sofa beds are super comfy.
Huge thanks to Tracey and Alex for setting the house up for us, I am pretty sure one of our group will be in contact to rent it out again in the not too distant future.
Thank you again.
Penny
