we have just returned home after a two night stay at this brilliant b and b, we had read the good reviews , but it was even better than we expected, the food was excellent, we also had an evening meal on our first night there, which was really good, we were made very welcome by the owners, the setting of the house was remote and really beautiful, quiet and relaxing, just the place to unwind, thanks for a lovely break

We couldn't fault this place at all. Tracey and Alex were great hosts and cooked the most fantastic food. I would definietly recommend staying in the Clay Room - it had the most amazing bath and a lovely balcony looking out over the garden.
Have already recommended it to my freinds and will definitely be planning a return visit.

A warm welcome awaited us at this quiet comfy haven set in the beautiful Shropshire countryside. A lovely family feel and easy atmosphere in which to relax with other guests.
We enjoyed a cocktail before an excellent, beautifully presented delicious dinner .
Our room was clean with a very comfortable bed and good en suite facilities, and the added bonus of a balcony where we could watch the delightful runner ducks.
Somewhere we would love to return to.

We only had 2 nights at Timberstone, but wish it could have been more - this is an excellent B&B, and we really couldn't fault anything about it at all. A totally peaceful setting, with Tracey and Alex (and the dogs) as really friendly and welcoming hosts. The food at breakfast and dinner was delicious and the room was great - comfy, cosy and well equipped. Amazed how picky one of the other reviews on here is - the mattress was great and all we could smell was countryside air!
Ludlow is close by, as are lots of nice walks and the Severn Valley Railway.
We only live a couple of hours away, so definitely hope to be back.

Two dads with four teenage sons on a tour of England and Wales. We couldn't be more happy with our accommodations and the owners were extremely hospitable and helpful with every need. Sometimes you wonder what you're going to get at a B&B and we've certainly had our disappointments with accommodations and owners in the past. But you won't experience any disappointment here. I highly recommend it.

Tracey and Alex are the most warm and welcoming of hosts. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the peace and tranquility of Timberstone immensely. Our room was extremely comfortable, with a lovely bath tucked under the eaves in one corner of the room and a balcony complete with table and chairs leading out from the patio doors. The views over the Shropshire countryside are breathtaking. Breakfast is sublime, made with local ingredients. We only had dinner on one night of our stay at Timberstone (so wish we had opted to eat in on the 1st night too!!) The food was delicious and there is a fabulous cocktail, beer and wine list. We would definitely recommend Timberstone to anyone else in need of a complete chill-out!! In fact we were so impressed we have booked another long weekend for later in the year!

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Timberstones for my Mum's birthday . The place is just lovely and far exceeded our expections. Beautiful house , stunning location, tasteful and relaxing decor, comfy beds, gorgeous bathrooms , absolutely delicious food ( despite intentions to venture out into Ludlow we ate at Timberstone both nights ) all in a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Tracey and Alex were extremely warm and welcoming hosts and we even got a moment to read the Sunday papers while our 3 year old was entertained by their 2 lovely boys.
We will certainly be returning !
