Excellent business hotel but can also be used to stay overnight if you are stuck at the airport. Downtown is not too far either (provided traffic is not bad :-). Reasonable prices definitely cheaper then the US counterparts and better service. Restaurant bar and coffee shop. I have also used their meeting rooms. Excellent customer service.pickup service from the airport. The shuttle can also drop you at nearby restaurants and can also pick you up. Safe environment.

This is a very good hotel to stay at if you are on a business trip in Monterrey, Mexico. It is very close to the airport and some industrial parks. The restaurant is good and there is a decent weight room. Internet access is free too.

Was there just for a night. Rooms were okay. Trust the front desk staff to mess with the spelling of your name though they have the passport in their hands! It happened to five of the seven people in our group. Overall, a safe place to stay in.

Very close to airport, great food, clean rooms....service was excellent. Pool location is poor, and they serve dinner around the pool for anyone wishing to eat outside....so don't plan on swimming. They had great live music outside on a Tuesday night....very entertaining.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms that don't face the highway, the windows are very large and don't seal as tigh...

Let me start saying Im a Platinum member since 2009. I spend 70+ night out of home on business every year. I believe I have some credibiity and experience with this hotel chain. I really like Priority Club loyalty program. Its good, its simple and effective. Customer Oriented.

But, . . . very sad to discover this hotel is the only one I have visited that they do not follow the Priority Club rules. It looks like they consider their most loyal customers as something "disposable" or without importance.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel Aeropuerto iin Monterrey has NEVER upgraded me. NEVER. They use the classic excuse: "We are packed" "fully booked" or so. Now, they even invented a new rule -- their own rule -- saying all Priority Club Members go to the 4th floor (11 floor building) where we can enjoy of free coffee and cookies (??). No matter if you are gold, or platinum or If you spend more than 70 nights a year in their hotels. . . According to their rule, you belong to the 4th floor.

This hotel management invented this Priority Club Floor where all the elegible members have access. Benefits? Free coffee and cheap cookies. Terrible coffee by the way.

For the same token, they do have an Executive floor, but only the ones who pay extra $20 are allowed. OMG!

After being a platinum member for 5 years I consider this as offensive and untasteful.
And its not about "how I am going to get more from this or that hotel" its about how they treat their most loyal customers. "$20 for your upgrade" nice, way to go !

I would like this hotel give me a trully nice welcome upgrade without asking . . . with a basket of fruit, complimentary breakfast or so .. . but I know It will NEVER happen, because Platinum priority memebers are just the same as everyone.

Sad. Very sad.

Room Tip: Wanna good tip? Try the Holiday Inn Express two doors away. They are always friendly. $20 - $30 less...

A few things about this hotel. If you want peace, you have to request an odd number room preferably in the 20s, like 425. Otherwise you pick up traffic noise from the highway the hotel sits on. For some reason staff thinks views of the airport, rooms even numbered, are premium but the noise factor is high and the airport is really too far away to matter.
Putting a special request at the bottom of your reservation is nearly pointless. I've done it twice here and they have never followed through, even though rooms away from the highway have been available. Still, I have changed rooms on them when I've been there, and the staff is gracious about it.
The business center has only one computer connected to a printer, which seems odd. The work out room is limited -- cardio equipment only -- and the pool sits in a windy area making it pretty much a nonstarter.
The hotel restaurant is okay. There is a nearby Italian restaurant, believe it or not, that is quite fine. Decent wine list.
Of all the airport hotels this is the best. The Hampton sits right on the highway. The Holiday Inn Express sort of does as well.
Rooms are okay, but only one bottle of water? Double beds are short, so if you are tall you have to angle yourself to get sleep. Good central air though.

Room Tip: Ask for an odd numbered room away from the highway if you want quiet.

Stayed here to be close to the airport. They provided a shuttle ride, so it was only 2 minutes away. Nice hotel, nice amenities and very spacious room. Too bad it is a roadside hotel, near the highway. The noisy street sounds make this hotel not very desirable.
