“Beautiful & scenic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 April 2013

Great walk with beautiful scenery. If you enjoy bushwalking, definitely make the effort to do this walk. Make sure you are reasonably fit as there are a lot of stairs. Also, ensure you have adequate shoes with a good grip, preferably hiking boots.

“The Hike to do in the Blue Mountains”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 January 2013

If you visit the blue mountains, this is the hike / trail to do.
You can walk for 10 - 15 minutes to the top of the waterfall and have a nice view of the valley. You can also chose to walk down towards the waterfall, which will take you about 1 - 1,5 hours, including some picture time. The climb is pretty real, with quite some big steps. Everything is restored pretty well and it does give you the nice feeling of being out in the nature. You can also go for the real hike and do the complete trail: 2 - 5 hours, depending on your flavor of choice.
If you have to choose between this hike and the 3 sisters hike:
- There will be less people here
- The waterfall beats the 3 sisters rock
- The parking is for free here.
- The view, on a clear day, might be better at the 3 sisters.

O yeah, bring your own supplies, there are no shops around.

“Awesome!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2012

The National Pass bushwalk is awesome! It is rated "hard", but apart from the steep steps cut into the cliff face at the start (Wentworth Falls end), our group of 4 x 50+ yr olds found it quite a comfortable walk. The scenery is breathtaking, with new "wow" views around every corner: of waterfalls, sheer cliffs, distant mountains, and ferns and rainforest. The track was a bit wet in places, but these areas were easily navigated. The steep steps at the start may be challenging for those with a fear of heights, but after that the walk flattens out, and even though it hugs the cliff face, 1/2 way up, the height wasn't an issue and we always felt very secure. Highly recommended for anyone with average fitness. We parked at the Wentworth Falls end (free parking), and finished at the Conservation Hut (great for coffee, lunch etc)

“Spectacular views”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 March 2012

This is not a walk for the feint hearted. It is strenuous but very rewarding. It is also an engineering feat in itself. The trail hugs the cliff face, in most places half way up! So you really are walking along a ledge, although very well secured and safe. Great view after view, and if there's been some rain, waterfalls as well. Really worth the effort. Read the track info before doing it, and make sure you take water etc. Sturdy shoes also recommended.

“Awesome Hike”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 February 2012

Awesome hike if you have 4 hours and are in reasonably good shape. If you're looking for another like this consider the Grand Canyon hike.
