Not for claustrophobics, people who want to use "free wifi" in the room or the ones blessed with a sensitive stomach. Had to book 2 nights because of administrative stuff to do nearby, next time i'll opt for a hotel further away from the place i have to go to. The room was barely big enough for the bed, and if you wanted you could bathe your feet whilst sitting on the toilet AND brushing your teeth at the sink in the mean time. The terrace was shared!!! There was a heatwave but could not air the room overnight because people from other rooms could then literally come inside!! They claim to have free wifi, but it doesn't range to the rooms. Called the reception for help with that, they claimed it was because of overusage cause there were so many people in the hotel so they couldn't help (saw about 10 different persons in those 2 days lol) but range was fine downstairs on basic phone whilst in the room there was nothing on both laptops with strong wifi systems. In the restaurant almost nothing was available. Only good point is they do know how to cook a lamb chop. Breakfast was horrid. Cold scrambled egg, overdue hardboiled eggs, sausages from undefined meat, bacon you could use as chewing gum. Even the chicken filet and ham had a strange smell. No fresh juice, all automate drinks. According to the book there's free coffee and tea on every stage, in reality you had to go run downstairs for a water boiler and teabags (only 1 per person) and were told politely to return it after usage... Traumatic experience, never going there again.

Room Tip: anywhere but here

I stayed here for one night on a business trip. For me the location was ideal, as it was close to the company I needed to visit the next day. I would not recommend it for a city trip; it is situated quite far from the city centre and in the direct neighborhood, little of interest can be found. A downside was that I had to pay an additional 14 Euros for the parking lot, which was very small and extremely difficult to maneuver.

The guy at the reception was very helpful, other than that I didn’t have too much to do with the staff.

The interior of the hotel is quite outdated and the room I slept in was nothing too fancy. It did however offer a bath tub, free wifi and a comfy bed. Basically everything I need for a one night stay was present.

I did not try the restaurant so I can’t say anything about that. The breakfast was simple but everything was there so I left for my client well rested and satisfied.

All things considered, this hotel is fine for one night. The next time I have to visit this part of Brussels for business I would probably book it again. However for any other occasion, I would not consider this establishment.

Only stayed one night here as it was just a quick trip - but would definitely come back. Set in a lovely square with shops and pavement cafes nearby - and a wonderful park opposite that we spent a lovely afternoon exploring. Was only 10 mins by tram No 4 to Heros from Midi Station at 2 Euros each. We had booked a double room and private bathroom - but actually it turned out to be a suite - double room with bathroom, plus a large lounge/study are/dining and kitchen area with all kitchen equipment/crockery/glasses etc. Tv in the lounge and bedroom and large windows leading onto a fire escape/balcony. It was a really nice surprise. The deal was dinner, bed and breakfast and the restaurant was nicely furnished and we were seated in bay overlooking the square. Our set meal was beautifully presented, plentiful and very flavourful. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for service, value, location and great food.

Room Tip: We had room 129 and it was really good - right next to the lift on 2nd floor, but had no noise from the lift or people passing by.
