Hotel staff very friendly and helpful when not swamped by tons of visitors. (two tour groups were staying while we were there) The room was quite fancy looking, It was a "Classic Room - Family double" there was a very large bathroom with 2 sinks. even a little kitchenette. (which we didnt use at all) There was a small mix up and the pull out sofa bed wasnt prepared for us, which we needed for our little one. After going down to the desk and asking about it, they brought up the linens and pillows and blankets within 20 minutes, apologizing many times. It was probably my fault for not clarifying it upon check-in. The breakfast was good, with really nice fresh squeezed orange juice. Overall a good experience, within walking distance of the Grand Place. (tho a little on the far side)

We stayed in Brussels for most of a week and took day trips to Bruges and Ghent and a two-nighter to Paris. This was a great hotel for us. The room was spacious and very quiet and the king bed was blissfully comfortable. Twenty minute walk to the Grote Markt (Grand Place) and five minutes to the metro stop on Av. Louise and Waterloo, which is three stops away from Brussels Midi station and trains to our other destinations. (You can also pick up a Brussels tour bus at that intersection.) The staff was helpful. For a light breakfast, try the Exki restaurant (fast food) on Louise at the circle between the hotel and the metro.

We were really pleased with our Twinbedded room complete with terrace on the sixth floor. Massive bathroom with separate toilet - excellent for two women who need a mirror each.
Two niggles: Sunday check out only had one member of staff hence queues; and we were rudely awoken by next door's tv on alarm mode, which reception sorted after about ten minutes. All in all a great stay and we would stay again.

Room Tip: Sixth floor suite with terrace and air con was quiet if you didn't want to open the balcony door

After spending a week traveling and staying in the typical tiny European hotel rooms, we were thrilled to check into our standard double room and find it to be gigantic! The bathroom was absolutely huge as well with a double sink, and both a bath tub and shower. The separate room with toilet actually had a small sink in it (my pet peeve with the European tourist hotels is that the separate rooms with a toilet never have a sink in it to immediately wash your hands). And although we did not need it, our sofa opened into a bed. This hotel is located in a large shopping district, and if you are a walker, you can walk to the museums and other main Brussel attractions from the hotel with no issue. The breakfast buffet was typical of all European tourist hotels with the addition of a do-it-yourself waffle maker that we hadn't seen elsewhere. Be forewarned, however, if you are expecting a 5 star hotel which in the states would be The Four Seasons, Ritz or similar - this is really just a little step up from your 3-star tourist hotel - perhaps the room size and location in a decent shoppping area gives it those extra stars? I recommend, we had a good stay there.

We stayed on second front floor from July 15 to 17 for fair price. Though just above Ave Louise there was absolutely no noise problem. Room was spacious, clean, well equipped. Location is great, 20 minutes recommended nice walk to Grand Place via Sablon and Palais de Justice. Staff (reception, breakfast etc) is efficient but clinical, i.e. not genuinely & proactively friendly or welcoming (main example was the breakfast lady). A little understaffed. Breakfast is fine though both mornings it was really looking for space yourself (no staff to help you). Hotel parking is expensive (25 Euro a day whilst 50 metres from this parking a secure public parking I recommend charges 14,9 Euro a day). Overall: fine but not memorable.

Went to Brussels for a weekend with husband and 2 children. Stayed for 2 nights and paid a fair price. We arrived very late on Friday and check in was very quick and the staff was professional. Very nicely located hotel, very clean and spacious room with a nice size tv. Toilet and shower are separate which is really good. Cannot fault the hotel in anything. When I needed something, I got it. Just like with all hotels, the food is very pricey. Cannot comment on the food as I did not eat any. We tried to book with breakfast included but it was too expensive compared to what we paid without it. There is an express supermarket nearby. Metro station not far and tram stop right out. One of our group couple was on the other side of the hotel, I thought the room was less nicer than ours but it was still nice and clean. There was a wedding on Saturday night and it did not interfere with our stay. It rained when we were there and the hotel provided umbrellas. Very thoughtful of them. Check out at 12 and reception was busy but still professional. The only thing was that our little fridge was not cleaned properly but that's down to the cleaner and their supervisor. Apart fro that, had a pleasant stay. I would recommend the hotel to any one and would go back over and over.

Room Tip: The front building is nicer and face the street. Nice.

My wife and I recently decided to take a long weekend holiday in Brussels.

Our hotel choice was the Bristol Stephanie based mainly on the 5 stars rating and location.

5 stars is probably a little overated but the hotel is very good with the prime advantages being its location. A short walk and you have access to mainline tram and bus connections.
In addition there are also quite a lot of restaurant/ cafe / bar establishments within a 5 minute stroll.

The hotel itself is well appointed with efficient reception services, excellent breakfast room and also a residents bar.

If you are located at the back ofthe hotel, as we were, the view is really dissapointing but I guess that is the luck of the draw.

Room Tip: Ask for a front facing room.
