The hotel itself is good, the staff is really helpful and the hotel in itself is a typical clean and effective business hotel. But its the location of the hotel that puts us in a dilemma. If you are a traveler heading out via eurostar or thalys to another country then the proximity of the Brussels Midi station is a boon. However if you are a traveler wanting to see the sights and sounds of Brussels, sure the metro is a stones throw away but the area around the hotel gives a negative and unsafe vibe at night, though during my stay nothing happened but the hotel staff warned us to not go out beyond 9:00 pm so that says something about the location.

Room Tip: I got mine on the fifth floor and it was a twin bed sharing and was adequate.

This hotel is quite good for the environment it is in. Very convenient for an early leave from Brussels Midi station. Bit far from the centre. Modern and new outlook. Good staff although not extremely friendly or welcoming. Simple bar, but with god priced offers. Did not use breakfast (rather expensive) so do not know about that.

Nice room, sufficiently sized. Two relax seats and a desk with chair, so plenty of possibilities for two people. Rest of the facilities okay. Spots on the (new) carpet and not everything all that shiny in the room.

It is okay for business people with connections. For tourist it is better to take a look closer to the centre although it is quite priceworthy.

Located across the street from the train station. Only a few places to eat close by and there are a couple of markets. About a 15 minute walk into central Brussels. Kind of a seedy area at night being so close to the train station but we had no problems.

Clean, fresh and new however WiFi was very poor. This was a big let down. This hotel is very close to the station so all good there. Great TV choice. A bit strange that you have to ring a door bell intercom system each time you want to get in. I can understand this at night however it acts as a barrier during the day. Overall however a pleasant stay.

My partner and I enjoyed a lovely two night stay at the Cascade Midi last month. We couldn't have asked for a more convenient location in relation to the Eurostar and we were only a short walk away from the beautiful Grand Place.

The room (which was available upon our early arrival) was spacious, impeccably clean and pleasantly decorated. The bathroom was of an adequate size and I was most impressed with the heat lamp! Another great feature within the room was the safe, which was available free of charge.

Would definitely recommend.
