My husband and I used this as an excellent stop-over on a long drive to central France. It is only a short distance from the new motorway (A26, A4) round Reims, and is very easy to find if you come off at exit 23. Beware of missing the exit if coming from the north, as although it is very clearly signposted, it comes after exit 16, with no other exits in between. This took us by surprise so we drifted past without concentrating, then took a long time to find our way back!
The hotel is new and is in an area of development which at the moment feels pretty empty, with large buildings under construction and lots of open space. It is close to a TVG station and the last stop on the tram line is right outside. It is very quiet and spotlessly clean. The room has all the basics, but no frills - a large comfortable bed, good lighting, a wall-mounted TV, a desk and chair. The shower room is clean and the shower works well. But there are no refinements so bring your own soap for the washbasin (there's only wall mounted shower gel). There are several accessible plug points, but no hairdryer or kettle. The price is very reasonable so it's no hardship to supply these extras yourself.
There's a lift to get between floors, and the dining area is functional and again very clean. Breakfast is continental style, but with bacon and eggs as a choice. It's not luxury dining, but is quite sufficient.
The hotel doesn't do any food except for breakfast, but the helpful reception staff can suggest places to go for a meal. The next door restaurant was shut on a Saturday and Sunday, so we went to the Campanile where we had a 10% discount with the B & B Hotel receipt slip. It's a short drive away - back to the big roundabout with the 'Hippopotamus Restaurant', then towards Reims until you come to the next roundabout. Turn right there, then right and right again. The Campanile is almost back at the main road, in what looks like an industrial estate, but the food is good. The 'help yourself to starters' course was excellent with a very good choice. It's worth having a French dictionary if you have a main course as the waiter didn't speak English.
At the roundabout where you come of/re-join the motorway, there's a big E.Leclerc supermarket with petrol. Opening hours are more restricted than in England but there's a huge choice of food. Other than go to the Leclerc complex, or go into Reims, there's little to do in the immediate area, but for an overnight stop the hotel is excellent.
