My 4yo has been skiing enough that he is solid on his skis and can make some decent turns on his own… just as a baseline of our level of skiing.
What more could you ask for to learn how to ski-- no rain, snow, wind, gradual slope and always perfect (though man-made of course) snow. They are able to rent you every thing you need- skis (snowboards), boots, poles, warm clothes, and helmets. The people are really friendly and helpful in getting you set up. The price is very reasonable- about 30E for the kit and 2 hours of time on the slopes- which is plenty of time since the runs are short and there is no variety (one short and one long- the long run is 620m). They also have a small sledding section for those <10y. Just 3 euro for an hour (which again, is more than enough time).
They have a very nice "base lodge" with 3 eating/drinking areas- one pizza place that has very good pizza, one buffet type setting, and one beverage island (OK coffee and a decent variety of beer). The seating area also has a nice viewing area of the slopes for those who would rather sit back and enjoy watching the fun with a nice beverage….
Lots of fun and great for practicing for the bigger outdoor slopes.
