I stayed at the Forum Hotel in Rozzano for 3 nights mid week. They offered a taxi collection service from the airport which I used and would recommend - €90 from Malpensa Airport which was cheaper than others. My room, 104, looked like it had been recently refurbished but the walls still showed some damage and the shower room / toilet had holes in the wall and missing tiles. The accommodation is at best "comfortable". The biggest 'minus' is the thin walls and poor sound insulation between rooms. Every night I was awoken by someone flushing the toilet either next door or on the floor above. Breakfast was adequate with the usual continental selections. There is no restaurant / evening meal service so each night I had to go outside to a local restaurant. The recommended Italian restaurant "Marro's" was very good, and is a short walk away.
The reception staff certainly made up for any deficiency in the hotel facilities. I found the staff very helpful especially when I needed assistance with planning my daily trips on the metro. Always very attentive, friendly and pleasant which makes a big difference when finding your way in an unfamiliar city.More
