“A HIdden Gem”
Reviewed 17 March 2013

A Hidden Gem of Ireland…
From the moment you walk in you feel welcome! It’s a traditional pub in a quaint little village between Lough Corrib and Lough Mask with a brilliant restaurant overlooking the rolling hills of Galway serving food to meet any appetite from seafood chowder to a 3 course steak dinner. The portions are well presented as well as affordable. The Owner as well as all the staff are over the top when it comes to accommodating your every wish and the cozy fire sets the stage for that warm Irish welcome. The area is a hidden gem… a heaven for fishermen as well as a treasure trove of historic attractions to please any touring interest and Burkes is the grand finale! Whether you’re on your own or part of a large group, I highly recommend Burkes for any purpose or occasion.

“Friendly, Traditional, and Exciting Pub”
Reviewed 12 January 2013

Burke's Restaurant and Pub is not only a fantastic place to gather with friends, but the food is incredible. Staff is extremely friendly and welcomes you home as a long lost cousin. I can't wait to go back again.

Reviewed 1 August 2012

Enjoyed a delicious meal on for 18 guests. Staff were helpful and polite. Prices were very reasonable. Then the icing on the cake was the unexpected music. After dinner we danced until 1am. Excellent time was had by everyone from older to children.

“One restaurant, three choices of style.”
Reviewed 4 June 2012

Upon entering, the place looks like a pub, but the second room is more formal, with red booths. The third and final room is white linen tablecloths and we chose this one, simply because it has a gorgeous view of the rolling green hills behind the place. Dinner was excellent and the menu is continental and rather extensive. Well worth a visit.
