Popped into here for a drink and some dinner on a bank holiday Monday after being out for the morning.
There are loads of good points about this place -
Plenty of parking
Allow dogs inside and in the garden
Nice bar area
Really clean and tidy inside and out
Plenty of choice on the menu
Loads of drink choices
Very reasonably priced
We sat in the garden as it was a lovely day and we had the dog with us. Got a drink and ordered food.
The food didn’t take long, but long enough to know that it hadn’t been pre cooked and sitting about in the kitchen.
The ultimate burger was lovely. The half roast chicken was also great. Unfortunately the mixed grill was poor. Whilst there was plenty on the plate it had all been well over cooked. The steak, despite suppose to be a medium was way past well done, both sausages were black and the fried eggs were as crispy as the chips. Such a shame.
This won’t stop us going back, in fact I will make a point of returning and trying something else as it deserves a second chance as it has so much going for it.
