“Well worth visit new centre”
Reviewed 14 April 2014

Went up to the new centre in Belfairs park and liked it a lot. They been suffering from lack of accsess due to flooded roads but that is now being fixed and there is plenty of room to sit around and have a cuppa and icecream. Good idea with this centre.

“Nature reserve - Essex Wildlife Trust”
Reviewed 9 March 2014

I come here often because I live nearby. You can spend hours in here doing a walk, picnic, golf etc. There are also tennis courts and the stables nearby and a park for children. I can't ever get bored of it here. Luckily theres a new belfairs woodland center open back in September 2013 by BBC Springwatch presenter Martin Hughes-Games. The woodland center offers some nice decking and a place to sit down to refreshments as well as visiting the toilet! It sells all sorts of stationery, books, toys etc. As a local, I always spend time here and also there are volunteering opportunities going here. They have regular tours throughout the year planned including watching bats etc.
