“Wonderful place to get away and relax!”

We stayed in the Weetreat with our 4 and 6yr old on our way through to QLD. Loved it so much we booked the Gardenia on our return. Such a great place to unwind! Our girls were free to roam and explore the grounds and they loved interacting and feeding the farm animals. Beautiful place beautiful people! Wish we could have stayed longer- next time!

We have just spent 4 nights in the Lavender Cottage at Telegraph Retreat....... Outstanding!
From the moment we arrived Melanie was most welcoming and hospitable, and this continued for our entire stay.
The luxury package meant that we were treated to freshly baked bread, bacon, freshly laid eggs with juice, home-made granola and jams delivered promptly each morning for breakfast.
The cottage was well equipped, whether you were staying for a single night or a few. Considering the weather, the endless supply of wood for the fire was tremendous.
Thanks to Melanie and Roger for a lovely stay, Telegraph Retreat is the obvious jewel in the Telegraph Point crown.

We went to Telegraph Retreat to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, We could not of asked for a better place to celebrate it. The cottages were great clean and well maintained lovely outdoor spa with privacy and a indoor fire that was so great it warmed the cabin. The set out of the cabin was very good and had ample room. The 9 acres of land was great to walk around and with lots of wild life to see, Our Host were great and very friendly, we would not have any problems in returning to this lovely place again.

My Wife last words on leaving was we had a better time hear than we did on our honeymoon.

We stayed 3 nights here with our 2yo and 4yo ... in the Federation Spa House. We really enjoyed it and were prepared with enough food to not worry too much! The House had everything we could need. The beds were comfortable, shower worked, bath great for the kids etc.

It was so very peaceful and relaxing and the kids could roam around, trying table tennis, enjoying the swing, the pool and the spa was excellent !

Thanks so much for a great stay, we really did enjoy it !

Our hosts were so very lovely and they had a great array of animals on the property.

Only minor comments were that it is further out of Port Macquarie than we expected, and whilst the room was surface clean, it needed a bit more when looking closely ... but ... the peace and spaciousness made up for it.

Overall, stay there - it was just wonderful :-) Thanks !

Melanie (host) could not do enough for us - fabulous attention to detail and nothing too much. The cottage was perfect for 2 plus our 5 month old daughter. In the event you don't manage a visit to the shops in Port Macquarie before arriving a good stock of local produce is available in the cottage for purchase at v reasonable prices. The spa is perfect for two and v clean. If your looking for a romantic break, some quiet time or just a little seclusion I can't recommend telegraph retreat highly enough. V private, cosy and extremely comfortable.

We celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary here in January 2014 and we're glad we did. We discovered a tranquil and secluded hideaway in the beauty of the Australian bush. We were made to feel welcome from the outset by Melanie and walked into our thoughtfully appointed 'Gardenia Cottage which had been carefully prepared for us. It was extremely clean, private and all our needs were catered for across the three days we spent here. We loved the spacious bathroom and outside heated jacuzzi especially.

We went for the breakfast package and looked of forward to the arrival of the fresh baked, warm sour dough cob each morning.

Given the warm weather we valued the ever so clean pol and if our stay was in winter we would take advantage of the slow combustion heater with ample wood supplied.

This is a true retreat! It's a getaway place worth a second visit; or perhaps a third. And you don't need an anniversary as an excuse to book for another sample of first class hospitality

Room Tip: Go for the Gardenia cottage and swim in the pool.

We stayed for four nights in the Federation house. Big & spacious with plenty of room for a family of four including two teenage sons. The boys enjoyed the table tennis & air hockey, we enjoyed the tranquility & the hot tub, and we all loved the breakfast! The luxury of having freshly baked sourdough, farm fresh eggs, real butter & other hearty goodies delivered to our door each morning made the stay even more special. We were also made to feel very welcome with freshly baked gluten free friands in our room when we arrived..especially appreciated by the coeliac in our family. We left feeling very relaxed and will definitely return. It was lovely to visit nearby Port Macquarie for a swim & a meal but then leave the holiday bustle and return to the peace, quiet & very comfy beds.
