We were a group of six mature women travelling in Cornwall. We spent six nights at Penhale Farm. Due to the excellent location of this working farm, we could easily make day trips to all the places in Cornwall we wanted to visit.
The ensuite rooms were attractively furnished and well maintained. The full English breakfast was excellent, with products from the farm or from the neighboring farm, as our hosts did not raise pork but their neighbors did, so that was the source of our bacon and (incredibly delicious) sausages.
As we were deep in the country, it was very quiet, except for the occasional animal noise, and with the fresh country air we slept very well.
The lounge and the dining room were also very comfortable. All in all, in no time at all we felt very much at home on the farm and were sorry when we had to leave.
