We know Salviac quite well but had never eaten there until today. We were stocking up on 'duck' products at Martegoute on the Route de Cazals (excellent) and decided to look for somewhere for lunch. This is a flower shop cum tea shop cum bakers cum restaurant. A smart formula to help keep Salviac village centre vibrant.
The menu du jour didn't disappoint. 13 eur for an entree, plat, dessert. In our case, homemade hearty soup or pate, a rich civet de sanglier full of flavour (wild boar stew) and lemon meringue pie. The owners were friendly and welcomed us with our dog. We will be back.
