The word "cabin" doesn't do this property justice. It is actually a comfortable two bedroom log home which is immaculate and well secluded. There is no internet service (who needs it when in beautiful Vermont ! ) but I do intermittently get cell reception. Everything you need is there- from pans, extra linen, to a patio with gas grill and table. The owners allow pets which is a huge plus for us. Our 8 year old dog has accompanied us on each visit and gets excited when we pull in ! There are a few very old cemeteries in the area that speak to the history of the founders, great walking trails, and farms to help us forget the business of city life. Vermont Country Store is only 30 minutes away and my favorite place to visit when I'm there. The owners are wonderful people who have always accommodated us in any way possible. When requesting information, Dave Hall responds very quickly (within a few hours) That has not been my experience when inquiring other rentals on the web. I guarantee one visit to this property and you'll be planning your next!

“An amazing place for a steal!!!!”
Reviewed 3 December 2013 for a stay in November 2013

When we first booked it we were not excepting anything that great for the price. Just wanted to get away for thanksgiving with the kids and try something different. The weather forecast wasn't good and the owners kept in touch and reassured just it would be plowed if there was snow and always answered any questions we had right away. When we arrived I was happy with location because it was in the wilderness but at the sane time not to far from life!!! Lol The cabin was absolutely spotless and just perfect for a stay with your family. We got put a lot and enjoyed many of the restaurants and near by shops. If your looking to get away from it all and enjoy your family or maybe just a loved one , this is the spot!! And the price will leave you with money to enjoy other things in Vermont!! Can't wait to visit again!!!
