We went back to the Buffet de la Gare for a sunny Saturday lunch on the terrasse and were reminded once again why we love this place. Not only is the food consistently excellent, but the service and atmosphere are also outstanding. We had tartare de fera and gazpacho as starters, the sea bass and steak tartare as main courses - all were excellent, well prepared, very fresh. I would not order the apricot tatin again but it was an interesting attempt - I am too faithful to the original apple version, I guess. There is also a decent selection of half bottles of wine, which we appreciate since we usually cannot finish a whole bottle but enjoy a good quality wine nevertheless. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.
