We spent a great night in the 'Apple Store' room which was spacious, classy, comfortable with a lovely king size bed. Kathryn was an absolutely fantastic host, very warm, chatty and helpful.

We were able to walk to River Cottage (about 30 minutes mainly through Wyke Farm's land and then along a lane). As I knew we'd be back late it was great to find a B & B that gave us our own private entrance so we didn't have to worry about disturbing anyone on our return.

The breakfast was great - all in all we couldn't find fault with anything about our stay. We'll definitely stay again, it was worth every penny and I'd highly recommend booking either the B&B or self catering if you're in the area.

We have just returned from our 5th stay at Wyke farm and as always it was superb! Kathryn and John were, as always, wonderful hosts. The rooms are wonderfully spacious, the breakfast brilliant! Thoroughly recommend for a lovely relaxing location at which to stay. Great for Lyme Regis, Axminster and even a short train journey to Exeter to satisfy the shopaholics!!

Enormous room on lovely farm, beautifully decorated & equipped. Attentive hosts, great breakfast. Very near to Axminster & Lyme Regis & the Jurassic coast - lots of places to visit including the donkey sanctuary. Would definitely return.

Many thanks for this and for all the feedback given over the last year for Wyke Farm B and B. It has been tremendous to have a constant stream of genuinely lovely guests to our farm and we look forward to welcoming new and returning guests over the months and years to come. We do read all our reviews and are greatly encouraged by the kind words we see. Thanks to all.

Just got back from a fabulous stay at Wyke Farm, Kathryn was the best host possible and always ready to answer our questions. Rooms are so spacious and the shower does really wake you up in the morning !!! The cooked breakfast are superb using all local produce and eggs from the chucks on the vast "front lawn". Overall will reccomend Wyke Farm to all and would love to go back again sometime soon.

We stayed here overnight on a recent trip to the river cottage canteen, what a warm welcome we received from Kathryn and John, the rooms were light and spacious and clean, and the bed was really comfy. Breakfast the next day was scrumptious, with eggs fresh from the chickens on the farm. All round relaxing weekend break. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and we will certainly be going back.

We stayed at Wyke Farm for two nights and couldn't be happier with the experience. Our room was enormous, clean and well appointed while John and Kathryn were fantastic hosts. The fresh laid eggs were bright and yellow and my wife adored the toasty underfloor heating. We would definitely stay there again should we re-visit the area.

We stayed at Wyke Farm during August for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Kathryn and John were brilliant hosts and the rooms were spacious, comfortable and extremely clean. There were 7 of us and Kathryn and John were more than happy to do us all slightly different breakfasts which were all freshly cooked and plentiful. One afternoon we decided to stay at Wyke farm (as the weather wasn't very good, not Kathryn and Johns fault!). Kathryn and John were quite happy for us to go for a walk around their land and even gave us a map to make it easier. When we returned we sat talking to them for a couple of hours, stopping them from working (sorry) and our daughter and their children played together really well. It was us that stopped them working not them stopping us getting on with our holiday. They always kept in the distance so as not to interrupt your holiday but were happy to have a chat if that's what you wanted. Perfect hosts. We were all taken to see the chickens and our daughter and friends children had the opportunity to collect the eggs on a couple of days. We came away feeling we were leaving friends. But don't get me wrong if it was privacy you wanted, then that's what you would get from Kathryn and John, they are guided by how much intraction you want. Totally recommended.
