A very warm and comfortable stay. The house is lovely and has such character. Marina and Stuart make fantastic hosts and help make the stay a memorable one. Tasty morning breakfasts with the assistance of the Aga also a highlight. Excellent location for heading to the coast and exploring the beautiful Axe Valley. Very handy to the River Cottage restaurant down in Axminster too. I'd be sure to stay at Symondsdown again.

Had wonderful week in one the two well equipped and very comfortable cottages in the grounds. The house is beautiful and Marina and Stuart are both lovely and welcoming hosts. Fantastic setting and great location.

Such a lovely setting, beautiful house and wonderful hosts.
Marina and Stuart really know how to provide a good service and a warm welcome. The rooms are really exceptional and the location is perfect.

Room Tip: Chose the double aspect room with en suite.

Welcome was lovely, room clean and large, toiletries top notch! So peaceful with lovely garden views. Close to Hugh Fearnley Whittingstalls Cantina in Axminster where we had booked a meal. Breakfast was great - full English with not a drop of oil!

Room Tip: any room would be lovely
