This is my second visit to East Fleet Farm (the first time being this time last year) and it is the best camp/caravan park I have ever been to. The pitches are generously sized and the facilities are modern and always very clean. The on site shop has everything you'll need and the pub is very nice with a friendly atmosphere. All the staff are very friendly and will do their very best to help you in any way they can. 10 out of 10!!!

We have just come back from our 7th consecutive stay at East Fleet. The facilities were every bit as good and spotless as ever with a few very worthwhile improvements.

1. The whole of the access road has been fully resurfaced to a very smooth standard. There are still proper speed bumps but these are fine if treated with the respect they are intended to promote.

2. The kids play area, which had lost a couple of items over the past year or two due to wear and tear, has been refurbished with some nice new additions, including some for younger children. The enclosing fence has been fully renewed.

3. Good quality Table Football and Air Hockey machines (coin in slot) have been added to the table tennis and outdoor gym equipment in the play barn, and on the day we were packing up our kids were the first to test the brand new, floor level trampoline.

4. New commercial front loader washing machines have been installed in the laundry. These are not cheap at £4 for a full (very large) load. Dryers are 20p per four minutes and most loads will cost around £2 to dry. It may well be cheaper in the local laundrette and luckily we have family in the area which is cheaper still!

We arrived at the site following a complete washout of a week and the grass part of our pitch was pretty soft. However we were able to park our car on unoccupied hardstandings and the sheer size of our pitch meant that we could fit the van, awning and two sleeping annexes on the gravel as well as a gazebo and a couple of wind breaks! The grass pitches did seem to be sited on better drained parts of the field and did not seem to be suffering too much. Luckily, with the exception of a few sharp showers and one pretty miserable day, we didn’t do too badly on the weather front and were able to walk on the grass reasonably well towards the end of our stay.

All in all another great stay at East Fleet. It may not be the cheapest site around but it is very, very obvious where the money is spent – it really is a pleasure to return knowing that the site will be at least as good as on previous visits.

this campsite is in a good location for trips and visiting the local area, but for us it was a little to large and impersonal, although I cant really complain about anything apart from the weather :-) the showers were clean and tidy and I never had to wait for a shower, which during half term week was good. it is a large quite noisy park, so if you are looking for somewhere to relax then this might not be the place for you. We were in a tent surrounded by lots of caravans who seemed to be in very large groups, as a result there was lots of noise, although the noise did die down at about 11.30 most nights.

it shouldn't come as a surprise to find a nice campsite, but we've been camping/campervaning for years and have found the prices going up, the quality go down and the camping community change. this site was a refreshing change, and one i aim to re visit at some point soon. its a large site, larger than we had expected so our hearts did sink a bit as we came trundling down the driveway. those fears were soon dispelled once we got settled in. the staff couldn't have been nicer (no really, i don't think they could!) the weather was wet and windy and whilst putting up our awning three members of staff each stopped and checked we were ok and had a brief chat. the shop was well stocked, the toilets are a campers dream and i'm sure the bar was lovely but we never made it there! superb setting on the side of the water and the coastal path kept us walkers and our active dogs very busy. yes its a busy site, yes theres a bit of noise from people enjoying themselves, but would go back... you bet! my only parting comment to the site is that Bob deserves promotion and another star, he's an asset to the team (and possibly the friendliest employee there!)

This camping site is located on the south west coast path on an organic farm behind Chesil Beach to the west of Weymouth Dorset. In the May sunshine it is a glorious area .
The site is discretely located within the folds of the landscape with trees and hedges to minimise the touring park's impact. We heard and saw lots of birds.
The site caters for tents and camper vans. We were camping. The slightly sloping site is very well organised and clean. They have allocated pitches. The ground easy to pitch a tent and the ground comfy to sleep on. We were camping between the numerous bank holidays in May so they organised it that we were not too close to any neighbours, but close enough to the toilet block.
I understand all the refuse is sent off for recycling. Even the sw coast path alongside the site is mown and marked for dog walkers with dustbins at frequent intervals
The toilet facilities have cubicles with wc,basins and showers with no timers on the hot water. So after a hot day s walking you can easily get showered without getting your towel wet.
Out of season this was great.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a well stocked camping shop. There is also a barn where if it were horrendous weather you could shelter without being cooped up in a tent. There is also a bar and restaurant although out of season this was open only on Friday and Saturdays.
I did find the on line booking form daunting as you have to complete date of birth and car registrations. However, we were rewarded by the organisation of the site.
Everyone we met whilst walking spoke highly of the camping site and the locals seemed to just love the area.

Room Tip: no swimming pool but then Weymouth seems to have all kinds of bays where you can enjoy the sand and...

Last week me and my partner decided to go away for 1 night in the tent so I had a look on the internet and came across this place, so glad I did! what a lovely campsite!
Phoned and paid on the day and arrived around 7pm, we had to check in at the bar and was even shown to our pitch by the gentleman that worked there.
As we only stayed 1 night we didn't see the shop or reception but the bar was lovely when we popped in for a drink and game of pool.
very pleased that the toilets behind the bar were nice and clean.
Will definitely be coming back here but for longer next time!
It was so peaceful all night and in the morning and what a beautiful view to wake up to.
