“Accommodating staff and interesting food”
Reviewed 13 February 2013

On a busy fiesta day the owner managed to find space for us at short notice and translated the 'specials' board German into English despite being busy.
Interesting food, well prepared though the pork was perhaps a little undercooked. Average-sized helpings. French/German influence rather than local. Most of the clients appeared to be Greman-speaking.

“Great food”
Reviewed 13 February 2013 via mobile

We had a great dinner at this restaurant, a bit pricey but food and service really good, loved the fact that waiters have A great knowledge about what they are serving, specially when te whole menu was explained to us by the waiter; food looked and tasted fantastic.

“fanTAStic!!!”
Reviewed 7 February 2013

This is one of the best restaurants we've been to lately. Although the clientele is mostly German, they also speak English, Dutch and even SPANISH! They call themsevles a "cochino innovatore" [sorry, my Spanish is non-existent] and they are that in spades: everything you've ever had before is different, even the rib-eye steak. We could have made a meal of the bread and garlic butter! And they know their wines too. Not normally a fan of Spanish wine [Rioja aside], we had some wines which were totally new to us and which we loved.
It's not cheap but it was worth every cent.

“A pleasant meal”
Reviewed 10 October 2012

We walked here as it was quite close to where we were staying. The staff were pleasant and welcoming even though we hadn't made a reservation. The restaurant was quite busy on a weekday evening which was a good sign. We were given menus with an English language page and the walls were covered with boards detailing the specials on offer. The main clientele of this restaurant are German and so the specials boards were in German language. Unfortunately we don't speak German (my fault) and the waiter only spoke limited english (Not many UK visitors in this area). We noticed that the waiter spent considerable time explaining the specials to German clients so we missed out on that but once again thats my fault for not learning German - Yet!
So our choice was limited but the food quality was good and prices slightly above average.
We will give this place another try when we return in April 13 so I'd better start learning german quickly!

“Seemed to us a completely reliable restaurant”
Reviewed 18 November 2010

We were surprised how good this place was; in particular, we were delighted to get some good salads and vegetables as these had not been much in evidence on this meat-eating island. Service was excellent (important as the menu was mostly aimed at Germans, as are many in this location). We were sad that we only visited this on the last night of our holiday!
