“A wonderful welcome in a beautiful area.”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

My husband and I stayed in the B&B for just one night but we loved it! Sylvia and Graham are genial hosts with a wealth of knowledge about the local area and lots of tips and ideas for visits and day trips. Our room was very comfortable and prettily decorated - I even loved the bed linen! The room was a bit on the small side but the bathroom was spacious with a nice array of toiletries. We had a look around one of the cottages which was gorgeous with a double height lounge area and 3 double rooms. The owners have decorated everywhere sympathetically and tastefully. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and Graham even shared his tips for cooking mushrooms to perfection! To top off all of this, the area around Stackpole and Freshwater is jaw droppingly gorgeous with some of the most beautiful coastline I have ever seen in my many travels. Go at once!

Sylvia and Graham are excellent hosts and could not have been more welcoming and helpful. the excellently cooked breakfast was a perfect start to the day. A lovely development of an old farm building in a quiet location. We will definitly come back one day.

My wife, 17 month old son & I stayed for 4 nights recently & couldn't have been more impressed with the facilities or hosting during our visit. The rooms are spacious, very tastefully decorated & have everything that you would need, if anything was missing our great hosts Graham & Sylvia would be on hand to help out in any way they could. They offered excellent, friendly advice on where to visit, places to eat & generally went out of their way to ensure that we got the most out of our time there. We have travelled all over the world but can honestly say that the beaches in this area are the most beautiful that we have seen....anywhere!

We stayed in the B&B section of the property, our room was spotless, a nice size with good facilities. It was very quiet and peaceful and we were made to feel very welcome by the owners Sylvia and Graham, who were very attentive without being intrusive. It was lovely to sit in the courtyard with a cup of tea or a glass of wine, a real sun trap. We had a lovely visit and wouldn't hesitate to return to East Trewent Farm.

My third visit to East Trewent Farm last week and my first with Graham & Sylvia as new owners. Stayed in Cottage number 2 for 3 nights and had a great stay. The cottages are very pretty and we loved having our breakfasts in the garden at the rear of our cottage. My 90 year Mother really appreciated the downstairs bedroom! Graham & Sylvia were warm, welcoming & very cheerful hosts and their advice on the best local sites to see in our limited time was very helpful. They also gave us some recommendations for great places to eat.

Due to fabulous sunny weather, we saw most of the local sites (Stackpole Quay, Barafundle Bay, Bosherston Lakes, Pembroke Castle, etc) and also visited St David's & its lovely cathedral, Solva & Little Haven. Had lovely meals at The Stackpole Inn, Dial Inn in nearby Lamphey & St Bride's Inn in Little Haven + lovely tea & cakes at the National Trust Boathouse Cafe at Stackpole Quay. Also paid brief visits to Sandersfoot & Tenby very nearby and Laugharne to see Dylan Thomas's Boathouse & Writing Shed.

Just wished we could have stayed longer. Can't wait to visit again and hope it is soon.

Room Tip: The B&B rooms are very nice too, if the cottages are already booked, or you don't want self...

We stayed at East Trewent Farm for 4 nights in April and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The B & B Rooms were not in the Farmhouse but in a separate private, dedicated building adjacent to the very pretty Breakfast Room where a log burner created a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent, very substantial with fruit and cereal and a lovely touch was the freshly ground coffee..
We also had an opportunity to peep into one of the three cottages which are also available to rent and were very impressed indeed with the furnishings, which were to a very high standard.
The area was outstandingly beautiful with lots of walks and things to do and Tenby itself was only a short drive away with its wonderful fish restaurants.
We can certainly recommend East Trewent Farm and have no trouble at all in rating it as EXCELLENT!

couldn't have wished for a better holiday. Graham and Silvia were friendly and very helpful, the room was clean, warm and tastefully decorated, and the breakfasts delicious. The location is perfect, especially if you are looking for somewhere away from the crowds. only a short walk down the hill to the beautiful (and fairly secluded) beach, and central to most of the attractions of the area. Perfect for walking and exploring this wonderful stretch of coastline.
