On a walking break in Suffolk/Norfolk we were comfortable and well fed in this traditional small town hotel. We had a cosy room at the rear. It was warm ,simply and well appointed. The highlight was the standard of the evening meals served in the bar. Fresh local produce and a good wine list. The hotel was convenient for the atractions of the town, notably the Castle as the name suggests. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Parking off street at the rear of the hotel.
