“Hmm ”
Reviewed 11 June 2014 via mobile

Wasn't so sure about this place, the high chair was broken so unusable so had to juggle my baby and eat at the same time, heard the staff insulting me behind my back, had to spend a lot to use my card - £10, the food wasn't too bad for the price, think I'd only go back if the children were desperate for a snack.

“Worth finding”
Reviewed 16 May 2014 via mobile

Tucked away behind Bungay castle ruins thus little café us worth searching for. Inexpensive teas and coffees. Nice looking sponges and cakes - sadly didn't try, but the home made sausage roll was 1st class.

“Nice little cafe!!”
Reviewed 9 May 2014

We were visiting Bungay, and found this nice little café near the castle. We had a nice pot of tea and a lovely sandwich with granary bread with ham and mustard seeds. It was really nice and fresh. Wanted to taste the lovely home-made cakes, but didn't find a space. The man who served us was polite and kind. Next time we visit Bungay, we will try and eat their cakes!! We sat outside in the sunshine, which was very pleasant. Can't wait to return there!

“Enjoyable visit”
Reviewed 23 April 2014

Saw the cafe from the road thought it looked a pleasant place to sit outside for snack. Got lovely table in the sun and was spoilt for choice looking at the menu. Very friendly lady took our order. Even though they were busy food and drink came quickly. Very generous portions and tasty food. Prices were so reasonable we decided to pay extra 50p each and look round castle that you could enter from inside cafe. Had little walk round the ruins very nice in the sunshine making a pleasant afternoon in Bungay
