I sought out this hotel to take my wife to, having been as a singleton.
There was a failure to communicate with me by the manager when I sought assurance that the deal we had booked included all meals.
I got no reply, but an assurance that all meals were included when we arrived. However at checkout time we were told our package didnt include the meals (which were nice but certainly not worth the prices in the menu) and we were presented with a bill as great as the (high) rooms cost.
Had we been told honestly at time of booking that it would cost so much extra we'd have either eaten elsewhere or quite possibly stayed elsewhere.
We were left with a very clear feeling that we had been "had". An email to us would have cost nothing.

Room Tip: Lake side view is wonderful.

We absolutely loved this hotel and had a fantastic stay, but it was tarnished by a group of 250 students who checked in for 2 nights and had loud music thumping from the beach all day and night until 3am in the morning. There appeared to be no staff monitoring the situation or trying to stop the noise. The hotel staff were apologetic the next day, but we hope they learn from this and don't accept this kind of booking again as it would seriously affect the hotels reputation.

Room Tip: The Suites were excellent for families and we loved the bear/beaver excursion.

Property is located in a beautiful location, and as we took the Lake View room, we had the amazing view to look at during our stay. The room had a fireplace and a jacuzzi, private balcony as I had asked for one, which is a nice treat. We opted for the half-board package, as it was a better deal than ordering ala-carte dinner, the food was good.

I had mentioned that it was for my partner's birthday as I had wanted to order a cake before. I was told that something would be arranged, we were offered a small complimentary bottle of sparkling wine upon check-in. I would have still wanted to have a cake there anyway, but I guess my bad on the communication. Otherwise, a nice gesture from the hotel.

We were a little late in making appointments for massages, so I guess we will go on our next visit. At the end of the day, hotel is a little pricey, but worth the experience. We left the hotel feeling so well-rested due to the quiet and tranquil night spent.

Room Tip: Pay a little more for the lake view compared to the forest view. You won't regret it.

this hotel is situated in a beautiful location and the picture in the brochure is as it is, we unfortunately stayed when they had also booked a very large party of freshers students who spoilt the first night with antics until the early hours of the morning with no support from staff to stop them, we were told we should of been informed before we arrived but this did not happen. The room was quite basic in facilities with no clock or t,v,

Thank you for your comment. Students in august is exceptional. We decided not to put TV in the room so that our clients are able to enjoy the nature around.

The resort has the best spa. We were late to book facials but the massage was incredible. Natalie and Tom did pro job on my wife and I, and outdoors as well, again incredible. The facilities are state of the art, hot, medium, cool and really cold jacuzzis mixed with steam, sauna, both regular and light therapy fitted out a great 4 hour session, both days there plus an hour plus for the massages.
Our room was on the main level, near the bar. Very simple, no TV, which was really nice. We had a spa/jacuzzi tub next to the bed which complimented a perfect romantic weekend. The hikes were also nice, a real back to nature walk, 4 on a 10 scale of difficulty for our 65 + generation.
The food was gourmet, excellent quality from a pro chef's hands. The wine cellar was excellent, as most are in la belle province.
I highly recommend this hotel to all lovers in all seasons. It doesn't get more romantic, oh there were kids there as it also family orientated, but hot tubs, massages, and scenic hikes plus a great bar atmosphere. I will be back and will recommend Hotel Sacacomie to my friends, Christmas there with friends would be a nice target.

That was one of the nicest surprise of our trip; a lodge in the middle of the beautiful Canadian area, with excellent service and animation.
The restaurant is also very good.
Prices are not cheap, but the experience is worth the trouble..I would recommend to visit this lodge hotel outside peak season.

My husband and I were visiting Trois-Rivieres Canada and we told our friends we wanted to get a couples massage. They suggested the Geos Spa here. We arrived early to enjoy all of the spa. It had breathtaking views and the spa was amazing. The massage was great and we had a nice dinner. The room was quaint and there is no A/C but we didn't mind because there was a fan. There was no TV but it was ok because we brought our iPad and there is free WiFi. We wished we stayed more than 1 night. Thanks to Roger for getting us a room and speaking English so well. We will be back in the Fall/Winter for sure!
