“Basic but very good”
Reviewed 15 August 2012

Chose Driftwood instead of The Dam Grill because friends had to wait the previous night 1.5 hrs to get a table and another 45 min for their meal. Heard that was typical. We were not disappointed with our choice. Four meals of pickerel and fresh cut fries which were excellent. Large portion of fish and felt good value for the money. Enjoyed the wine and the view of the boats and water.

“Agree with LoadedAgain 100%”
Reviewed 24 February 2012

Wow the prices are outrageous for what you get...won't return...but the small restaurant LoadedAgain mentioned called The Dam Grill (Not even listed on TripAdvisor!?!) is very good food, licensed and the view and food worth the cost. You can just pull up in your boat and tie off to the dock where they also have a patio. Lg groups need to reserve. I recommend the Pickerel and stuffed potato. Too bad they are not listed for you here. So I'll be nice and post their info...hopefully TA will allow this review as there are not alot of choices in Port Severn...and only 1 listed here.

“Way overpriced for what you get”
Reviewed 20 January 2012

Something has changed at the Driftwood Marina for the bad. It used to be a great little burger and ice cream stand on the water that was priced appropriately. Someone decided they wanted to change it to an upscale restaurant and brought in a new staff and menu. The menu is new and there are some interesting things on it but I cannot emphasize how crazy the prices have become. 2 egg breakfast "specials" for $12+ and most dinner choices are $20 +. The food is not bad. In fact it is quite good, but the prices the want are outrageous considering it still is a patio bar.

A few years ago, this place was packed with people all the time. Last summer it was dead. This will only get worse for the Driftwood once people realize that the Dam Grill at Bushs Marina has great food at very reasonable prices.

“Way overpriced average food”
Reviewed 14 October 2011

First I must say this use to be one of my favorites, amazing food and a fair price. But that has all changed! There was a change as far as who is running the restaurant and it is not for the good. They use to have the best hamburger anywhere, now it is average and way overpriced. The burger was $10 with nothing else, no fries or anything. My buddy ordered the Big Breakfast, your standard 3 eggs, with bacon, sausage, and ham(glorified lunch meat), potatoes, and toast. It was freakin $20!! This is insane! You can go down the road a half a kilometer and have an amazing champagne brunch for that price( at Christie's Mill). The location is very nice it sits right on the water looking over the boat docks but not worth the money. They use to be packed all the time now there is no one there. I beleive that says it all. I will try again next summer once, I heard that they are going to change management again. But till then stay away!

“excellent meal at the cafe”
Reviewed 31 August 2011

My wife and I alongwith our family and friends decided to have dinner at the Driftwood Cove Marina cafe. As we are boaters, I would recommend other boaters to stay overnight and enjoy a delicious meal as the chef does everything from scratch. The lake trout was delicious and very friendly service from the staff at the marina and cafe.
