The location of this bungalow is absolutely stunning. Waking up with Beinn Eighe mountain out of your bedroom and lounge window every morning is a view to die for. You are right in the national nature reserve here. An audience with the pine martens outside the lounge window every night is a delight, they love whole raw eggs and digestive biscuits smothered in jam or chocolate spread. The garden is visited by large number of birds and deer have been sighted on the lawn, we didn't see them, but many people have. Fantastic walks right on your doorstep, would recommend walk round Loch Clair, track at side of house and Beinn Eighe Mountain Trail. Took a boat trip out of Gairloch and saw seals and harbour porpoises and was in awe at the scenery surrounding Loch Torridon. A short walk from the bungalow is Kinlochewe and can recommend the fantastic food at the Whistle Stop Cafe, (take your own beer). Didn't want to leave Cairn Sheil and can't wait to go back.
