I stayed at Tremaine Farm for four nights in early October and had a really good time. Rosemary was welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout, and provided hearty breakfasts as well as some unexpected refreshments at other times! The room was very well equipped, and I slept well every night; there is also a pleasant guest lounge suitable for relaxing in the evening. The area is lovely, and the farm is only five minutes drive from Pelynt and ten from Looe, so finding an evening meal was easy. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed at Tremaine Farm for 2 nights in mid Sept while visiting the UK from Canada. When we arrived it had been raining and the farm yard that we had to park in was very muddy. We realise this is a working farm but a little thought by the owners would turn some of the rather large front lawn into guest parking so they dont have to tramp through a muddy yard.We were greeted by Rosemary who showed us around the lounge and dinning room but warned us to watch for rain drops if sitting at the table in the window of the dinning room as it had been raining in.We were shown to our room which was not the room that we had confirmation for, she had let it to another couple and as we were tired from a long drive we didn't question it until the following morning at breakfast. The room we had requested and had been confirmed had an air bath. When we questioned why the change Rosemary's reply was "Foreigners usually like showers". Later during breakfast she said that the couple in the room with the bath were leaving and if we really wanted she would move our things over. Needless to say we moved over. Not a good move. The air bath is extreamly noisy and all during the night there is a constant humming sound like a heat pump running. The b&b was very clean with very modern decor etc. The breakfast was about average and cosidering the b&b is rated 4 star gold by the British AA it was very disappointing and my recommendation is think twice before you book.. My wife and I have just spent 4 great nights at this b&b . We were welcomed by Rosemary, who was lovely and friendly throughout our stay . The room / bed /bathroom were spacious , very clean and extremely comfortable . The breakfast was enormous and very tasty . The location is peaceful and beautiful and an excellent base for sight-seeing around Cornwall and we will certainly stay there next time we come down.

On arrival Rosemary supervised us with regard to carrying our suitcase up to the room as she did not want to risk the wallpaper being marked and therefore requested that my husband held one end of the suitcase and she the other. We were shown to a beautiful room and given instructions on how to use the airbath. We had booked in for two nights and on the first night I thought I would try the airbath, however ,after returning from our evening meal around 09.30 we were met by Rosemary who requested that we did not use the airbath but were welcome to have an ordinary bath, as a couple had retired to bed and she was concerned the airbath would be too noisy, we duly complied with this request. Also, we had to reluctantly complain about the noise coming from Rosemary's private quarters - the TV was very loud (we could not hear the TV in our room) and we could hear her husband singing and talking very loudly. Our recommendation would be to use the airbath early evening or morning as you maybe requested not to use this for the reason outlined above. On the eveniing before our departure Rosemary requested that as we had planned to leave around 6.00 am the following day we should take our suitcase down before retiring to bed so as not to disturb the other guests in the morning. We did not comply with this request as (a) we felt insulted that she assumed we would not be considerate of our fellow guests and (b) we had items that needed to be placed in the suitcase before departure. As it turned out we did not make a noise and carried the suitcase down the stairs without marking the wallpaper! It cannot be argued that the room and en-suite we stayed in are decorated to a high standard and we found the breakfast to be good. Initially we found Rosemary very welcoming but by the end of our stay we felt uncomfortable for the reasons outlined above.

This is the most fantastic place to stay! The owner was so helpful and very chatty. On arrival we were made tea with delicious scones, jam and cream after being shown to our fabulous room with a spa bath in the most amazing bathroom. Place spotlessly clean and breakfasts absolutely delicious. At breakfast introduced to the other guests which was a nice touch and owner most helpful regarding the local area and places to eat, even making bookings for us. Would certainly return

Room Tip: I'm sure they are all fabulous

We've just returned from a three night stay at Tremaine Farm and would highly recommend it.
Rosemary gave us a great welcome immediately and showed us our spotless large and airy room and bathroom. Although we'd stayed in the area some years ago she was able to recommend pubs and restaurants, as well as beautiful coves and beaches more off the beaten track that we had never visited before. This really made our holiday one to remember. The breakfast each morning was beautifully cooked, with plenty of choice. Definitely much better than a hotel.
All in all a great bed and breakfast which I can highly recommend.

I cannot speak highly enough of Tremaine Farm!

My husband and I have now stayed at Tremaine Farm twice in the last 12 months and on both occasions we have had a fabulous time. This lovely B&B is a home from home. The rooms are very clean and have all the features you would expect of a 5* hotel, however a 5* hotel is missing something...host Rosemary!

Rosemary is so welcoming from the moment you arrive. She has extensive knowledge of the local area and is brilliant at providing guests with ideas of things to do in Cornwall. In addition to this she is also a fabulous cook and makes a cracking breakfast, complete with a selection of homemade jams.

We will definitely be arranging another trip to this incredibly charming B&B.
