Had booked table for 8pm.All waitresses pretty, and ours tried her best but hadn't got a clue.Everything we asked about the menu she had to go out and check,i.e.What's the soup of the day ?
We eventually got our food at 9.30.The cod was unavailable,I had the savoury strudel which was a dried up tube of filo. Two of us had the 'special' pork with a cider sauce, one was sauceless. We were given a bottle of wine on the house, when we complained. The waitress had only been there for 2 weeks and they were down to one chef. We saw no evidence of managerial staff at all
If we had been told at the start that our meal would take a while,it might have helped,as it was we had an unenjoyable evening and won't be going back for a while.
