We stayed here while walking the Cotswold Way. It is right on the path but is still difficult to find with no signs nearby indicating how to find it. We stayed in self catering accommodation with two bedrooms and a kitchen diner lounge with separate bathroom. It was good to have the extra space. The decor was basic but adequate with new settees. The proprietor was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast food was excellent and we ate in a very pleasant converted barn. One warning - the nearest restaurant is one mile away across fields and an old fort. You should consider being prepared to make your own evening meal. If you do go to the hotel and have to walk back in the dark take a map, torch and compass. Follow a bearing as soon as you get on the footpath in order to find the breaks in the two stone walls you will have to cross! Also have waterproof or old shoes!

Unexpectedly spacious and nice apartment unit accommodations. The only drawbacks were the bathroom smells like poo because of the mace ration unit under the toilet and this smell was pretty bad, but bearable if you keep the bathroom door closed. It was also cold, and the heat was shut off in the evening, and there wee no extra blankets in the room so I froze. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special with a limited choice of cereals that had been open for some time. The hostess' attentiveness made up for this shortcoming though.

My partner and i stayed New cross hands farm last september for 3 nights, we took my 7 year old mare and can honestly say it was fantastic, we had the warmest of welcomes from debbie and nothing was too much trouble, when we woke up the morning after we arrived debbie very kindly put some freshly laid eggs on our step for us to enjoy, very nice touch we thought. Debbie and i talked about horses and i felt like an old friend, when it was time to say goodbye we chatted again for about an hour. The riding around there is outstanding and the sunsets are to die for, for anybody staying there all I would say is when you get to the petrol station slow right down as it is the next turning left, we went past it and could not turn around for about 4 miles so look out for the white sign directly after the petrol station as thats where you have to turn, lastly......enjoy.

My daughter competed at Badminton Grassroots and this was the perfect place to stay for us. We took the self catering flat for 6 days and was extremely comfortable in everyway. The horse accommodation was first class with excellent turn out, safe a secure and with Debbie's horses in the next paddock to keep company. Beautiful hacking, just perfect for a holiday with your horse or without. Received 5* treatment, felt very welcomed and would highly recommend. Hope to go back and explore the beautiful countryside.

We stayed here for two nights for a horse holiday. Humans and equines were equally welcome and facilities great. The hacking in and around Badminton Estate was AMAZING. We will definitely be back as everything was brilliantly set up for holidaying with a horse and it was excellent value for money.
