This is a fab place to stay in Chipping Sodbury! The owners couldn't do enough for you. The rooms are nicely decorated and the bathrooms are exceptionally clean. The choice of breakfast is exellent. I will definitely return to this hotel in the future. This is a central place to stay if you are visiting Yate, Bath and Bristol which we did this weekend.

Room Tip: Our friends room in the attic had low ceilings so if you are tall stay in the other rooms but this w...

My partner and I made a last minute decision to go away for a weekend; and by great good fortune, found The Moda House. Absolutely the perfect choice to stay; courteous, friendly and the room so charming and comfortable,(everything there to hand i.e. tea/coffee/water) and the room and bathroom all impeccably clean and fresh, just lovely to have on what was such a hot day too. From our room a wonderful view down Chipping Sodbury high street. The local bars and restaurants offered a wide selection venues to eat down to personal choice, but we found the Thai restaurant at the bottom of the high street very good indeed, inexpensive and the food was just excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend The Moda House to anyone wanting a pleasant place to stay with so many beautiful walks in the countryside right on the door-step. Our hosts, Jo and Duncan could not have been more helpful and considerate in ensuring we were comfortable.

We will go back again, and again.

Room Tip: Higher rooms means going up stairs to several levels, but the view is worth it!

we stayed at this hotel as it was close to a 60th birthday party we were going to, we were on the top floor which was in fact in the attic, it was very clean and tidy but as we stayed in july it was very hot only a couple of skylights for ventilation, there was a very narrow staircase up to the room not ideal for the elderly, the couple that run the hotel are very nice and friendly, the breakfast was good, the best thing about this place is the sweetie bowl just inside the front door

Room Tip: ask for a lower floor room

Right in the heart of Chipping Sodbury is Moda House. A warm welcome by our hosts, Jo and Duncan. Our room was right at the top of the house. Lovely room and great views over the town. If you can't get upstairs, ask for a room on the ground floor. Great place to explore the area, lots of things to see. Good Italian restaurant just over the road and if you want a good coffee go to "Coffee 1" just down the street.
Only drawback is parking - once you've got the parking lot, stick to it.
Thank you Jo and Duncan for an enjoyable stay.

Room Tip: If you can't climb stairs, ask for a room on a lower floor.

My family and I stayed at Moda House while in the local vicinity for a wedding function. The property is beautiful inside and out, and easy to spot by it's lovely structure, on the High Street. The room was one of the nicest B&B rooms I have stayed in, appointed well with plenty of space and beautiful character furnishings. The bathroom was spacious including a corner bath with the power shower we all love.

Breakfast was delicious, everything you could wish was on hand, though a little radio or light music in the room might have broken the silence. (Or maybe it was our paranoia as we had a small squeeky child with us!)

The hosts were very pleasant in reception and departure, helping with bags and ensuring we had the directions needed. I'd be very happy if we got the chance to stay here again.

We had the good fortune to discover the Moda House as a stay on our way to Cornwall. Very convenient to the M4 and Chipping Sodbury was a supprisingly beautiful Cotswold town with a good variety of restaurants.

The Moda House is a lovely building and lovingly cared for by the owners Jo and Duncan. The rooms are all tastefully presented with nice quality furnishings and decor that accentuates the ideal location in the charming town of Chipping Sodbury.

Then theres the well commented on breakfast. Served in a delightfull dining room, this is a true treat. Quality local food prepared and served to impecable standards.

Thanks for a great stay. Look forward to a future visit.

Very friendly owners, clean, interesting decor.
Our room had a great view - looking down on the historic Broad Street.
Breakfast was yummy, very good local sausages.
Double bed was a little small, and the room had a shower but no bath.
Would recommend.
